People trying to read Rush as being a mindless promoter of Trump are only hearing what they want to hear. Rush doesn’t criticize any of the candidates, except Jeb (and even that is subtle).

If you have listened to Rush for years as I have, you would know that he NEVER endorses any candidate during the primary and he ALWAYS supports the nominee, though that person may not have been his first choice. He shares the same disgust that all of us do with how the Republican party, despite their promises in 2012, refuse to do anything to oppose Obama, letting him continue to try to fundamentally change this country forever. The important thing for all of us is should be to defeat whomever wins the Democratic nomination!

Rush is not the reason Walker has imploded.
I don’t think Rush is against Walker at all. I think Rush knows as many do that the immigration issue is absolutely the most important issue of our time. If we don’t win this one, none of the other issues will matter because what we want will never happen again in the US. We will have been replaced by 3rd worlders who will always vote democrat progressives.
This is the reason the GOPe has become Dem lite. Their donors want a cheap labor class who will work cheap and supplement their bad wages using welfare and other entitlements.
It sure is all good for them. Not so much for American citizens.

I don’t think Rush is promoting Trump. He seems to be taking a neutral position. I think he is however, disappointed in the weakness of the other more conservative candidates and has been trying to point out to them why Trump is seeing success.
