Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 1,302 registered voters in Iowa regarding the presidential election and other areas of interest. The sample includes 454 Republican Caucus participants, 328 Democratic Caucus participants, and the remainder not planning on participating in the caucus, but are planning to vote in the regular elections. The poll has a margin of error of ± 2.7% [4.6% for Republican Caucus/5.4% for Democratic Caucus]. The total may not round to 100% because of rounding. The polls were conducted using automated telephone calls (IVR technology) and weighted separately for each population in the question presented. The poll was conducted for One America News Network.

“Trump, Cruz, Carson, Huckabee and Santorum.”

Get rid of Huckabee and I’m with you. Huckabee’s DIRECT responsibility for the deaths of 4 cops in Tacoma is a non-starter for me. He hasn’t even apologized.

“The leader at this point in the race rarely win, Cruz will move up, just watch...Can you say Guiliani, Thompson, Hermain Cain, ect.”

Except if there were any real dirt on Trump, it would have already sunk him. He’s already beyond the usual weed-out process, so don’t be so sure he fades away.

Sean Hannity predicts the MSM will now issue polls where they ask Cruz, Rubio, Carson and Fiorino supporters and just rig the polls not polling Trump backers, and wording the questions to bias the polling. Sean said that pollsters can make polls read any way they want if they are dishonest.

Yes, not to hard to see what's coming. Trump has been citing the polls and thus he has been legitimizing the polls.

Of course the polls like the news organizations that pay for them can be corrupted, and that's what will happen.

Live by the polls and you die by the polls.

“He’s bound to be doing his own internal polling. He’s not gonna fall for MSM poll scams.”

YOU CHANNELED ME! I was thinking exactly the same. There is NO WAY that Trump would not be running his own polls...he needs to know THE TRUTH, not what Karl Rove wants him to believe.

He, of course, won’t admit to the polling (nor should he), but he will use the polling to enable him to DECIDE FOR HIMSELF as to what his weaknesses are and whether people are getting tired of him.

...after all, he does want to win, and there is NO ONE he can trust, unless they are on his direct payroll...and then only a maybe.

There is no comparison with Cain, Guiliani, etc. None of those flash in the pans ever led the race by such a wide margin practically from the day they entered the ring.

Trump has been a national figure for decades. There are no skeletons in his closet that has not already been exposed. He’s basically bullet proof with regard to the kind of scandal that forced Cain off the stage.

There are many who are “wishing him away” but that’s not going to happen.

Trump’s massive ego basically dictates that he stay in this race to the end. He has put it all on the line and his legacy depends on a successful outcome.

Also, Trump has not even begun to dip into his massive war chest of billions. So far, the media coverage has given him a free ride. That might well continue. He may never have to run a conventional TV ad campaign, which is the biggest cost in any presidential campaign.

Cruz is moving on up !!!
At least people are more sure about Trump than they are about Cruz.. Cruz couldn't even beat, or tie the "unsure" vote.

He might be lucky to carry his own state let alone IA.

Nice Cruz bump!

Ted wins the patriot/courage/intelligent/consistent conservative category.

It’s time to reward the guy who’s been fighting hard for our cause through his entire career with the nomination.

It’ll be great if he does the slow tortoise walk to a win in Iowa. If he has a late Santorum-style surge that’s great too. I think he needs to win Iowa though, because he won’t get New Hampshire, the RINO “we hate Southerners” primary. He needs to get that win out of the gate to propel his candidacy forward at the right time.

How in the world is Cruz a “single issue” candidate? I can’t even imagine what issue you’re referring to, because he is a strict down-the-line, traditionalist, constitutional conservative on EVERY issue. Taxes, guns, abortion, marriage, education, entitlements, health care, immigration, military, etc.

Cruz can’t change things now because he’s 1 vote out of 100. Once he’s President, HE calls the shots, and we know he’ll shut the government down until Congress gives him what he wants.

Cruz can not rise to #1 until he changes position on:

5 times increase in H1-B visa cheap labor express,
and no mention of word “deport” on his web site or speeches.

LETS KEEP IT SIMPLE...

Ted has not gone the chops or the bonafides to talk with International business leaders on a level field, let alone political ones..

I sense a certain zeal amongst Teds supporters, he talks a good game. His voting record and attendance are second worst in the chamber, at least on the GOP side. He missed critical votes that had meaning, not National Kite Day or something important like it /S

Talk ios cheap and in the Trump Admin day 1 it is game on, the time for reversing the country into a Republicis in the plans, first things first

And if you can show where he has the stuff beyond soaring rhetoric, like a track record of his success both Political and Business

Why??

The original intent of the framers was NOT to have professional politicians..

Elucidate us all please...

Who are these folks that like Carson?

I admit he seems like a good man, brilliant and affable.

But I'm looking for a General or Tycoon...or street-corner rabble rouser to shake things up a bit.

Fire people.

Eliminate criminals and seditious traitors in the extended Political complex.

He does not present hard enough for that role.

Hannity is a Murdoch shill which may qualify him as a dunce but more like a puppet.

His kissy face interview poster with the snake Mccarthy show just how much a DC insider shill he is! Its obvious he is told what to ask and what is off limits.

How Hannity ignores that Mccarthy is owned by Silicon Valley Billionaires and a huge amnesty traitor just like his interview with the Billionaire Zuckerberg’s sock puppet Rubio !
Trump calls Rubio the personal Senator fir Zuckerberg for good reason!

The 2016 elections are unlike any elections of the past. The factor in past elections that resulted in those flash in the pan candidates going bye bye later was mere name recognition. That’s because few people usually pay attention to much about the candidates this early.

For these elections, a large percentage of voters are completely fed up with pretty much everybody who has contributed to the failures in the nation over the past 20 to 40 years, and are convince or nearly convinced that the USA in on its last legs. Many voters are paying close attention in desperate hope that they can find someone who can rescue us before the nation crumbles and is totally destroyed.

The only way current polls are going to change at the top significantly is if those voters sense that one of the leaders is shining them on. And many people have a greatly sensitized measure of being shined on by politicians.

The elections of 2016 will be watershed elections. You just watch in amazement as they come about.
