Governor Jerry Brown just sold out the American vote in California. He signed a new version of the Motor Voter Act that will register every eligible California citizen who acquires a driver’s license or renews a license at the Department of Motor Vehicles to vote.
This is after he made all illegal aliens eligible for diver’s licenses. Eleven states allow illegal aliens to get driver’s licenses.
In California, state officials “specifically chose not to make noncitizen license holders searchable in their DMV database,” said True the Vote spokesman Logan Churchwell, who called the newly signed bill “unprecedented.”
The measure, Assembly Bill 1461, “will effectively change the form of governance in California from a Republic whose elected officials are determined by United States citizens and will guarantee that noncitizens will participate in all California elections going forward,” Election Integrity Project of California President Linda Paine said in a statement.
It appears to be unconstitutional.
This is what conservatives were afraid of and this is just one more example of a conspiracy theory come true. It will undoubtedly ramp up voter fraud in California.
California’s Secretary of State feels differently
“In a free society, the right to vote is fundamental,” said Secretary of State Alex Padilla. “The New Motor Voter Act will make our democracy stronger by removing a key barrier to voting for millions of California citizens.”
According to the Secretary of State’s Office, 6.6 million residents are eligible to vote in California but are not registered.
California becomes the second state after Oregon to adopt an automatic voter registration system.
Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote has been very concerned that non-citizens will determine who becomes the next president.
Catherine Engelbrecht has been exploring the issue state by state and has found that there are two issues.
One is the physical appearance of the driver’s license issued to illegals that affects the ability of the poll worker to determine an illegal voter.
The second, and the more serious, is the data underlying the issuance of the ID.
In many of the larger states, California being one, there is no distinction between the databases of citizens and non-citizens. There is nothing to prevent the illegal aliens from voting. There is no way to tell a citizen from a non-citizen. “In other words, the flood gates are open,” Engelbrecht says.
Ms. Engelbrecht points out that once it is no longer necessary to prove citizenship in order to vote, elections become little more than body counts at the polls, with no need to compete on the battlefield of ideas necessary to win, you’re “just dragging people across the finish line.”

I would also point out that California does not require ID to vote. So the issues of poll workers seeing the different type of license issued to illegal aliens won’t matter, since nobody in Calif. Checks an ID when people vote anyway.
california needs to not be counted in federal elections as long as this is allowed.

Driver’s licenses for illegals made legal and motor voter laws to allow illegals to overwhelm citizens votes to keep the Democrats in power.Working exactly as designed. Our government has sold it’s people out period.
We weren’t going to win there anyway. (Maybe we lose some of the 14 Repub congressmen out of the 53 total, and some of them are RINOs.)

This has to violate the Constitution.
The Presidential election is a Federal Election. That’s why the USSC ruled on the chad issues and Florida Supreme Court workings were cast aside.
We’re well past that point.
They will now. And it’s not California anymore if Mexicans vote.
I always thought that was unConstitutional. I guess the Constitution doesn’t matter any more.
If Donald Trump becomes president, I hope he threatens to cut off all federal taxpayer money to the eleven states that allow illegals to get driver’s licenses.
I know this doesn’t make you feel any better, but illegal aliens have been voting in California elections for years. The California DMV offices are staffed by SEIU members. I have always assumed that every illegal walks out of the DMV office registered to vote whether the illegal knows it or not. They are registered as permanent vote by mail voters. The California voter registration form has two address fields. One address field for where you live. The other address field is for where your mail in ballot is mailed to. I will leave the rest to your imagination.
