I totally and absolutely resent every intrusion into my life from taxes to healthcare to what I eat and drink. We may as well be living in the era of serfs or sharecroppers, for that is all we are: beholden to the powers that are in control.

But we remain optimistic and see a bright future. Our retirement accounts are bursting. Our children are in the finest colleges. If you are feeling down at the moment, say a prayer. He has always answered our prayers. Sometimes the answer is no. But He answers..
