They have a great Chinese Restaurant near hear, and it is built in a historic yellow house.
I call it the Yellow House, and I recently suggested we go to “The Yellow House” for Chinese food, and one of my co-workers smirked and me and said “That’s racist.”
There was no context at all in my mind, but I did find his reaction kind of funny.

Anyone remember when you could buy a stick of real IDEAL brand licorice at the druggist? THAT stuff was BAD as it was pure licorice, with no sugar!

Why do white people hate black eye peas? RacismI thought they were now called N Double-A C Peas.
Whatever you call them, if I'm cooking, they're tasty.

We can laugh at these examples of "racism," but many black people firmly believe race affects every aspect of American life. A few months ago on "Pardon The Interruption" with Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, Wilbon, who is black, stated that race affects every part of American life. Kornheiser, ever the arch-liberal, said nothing. So morons like Wilbon get away with that.
And they really believe it. Like white, Mrs. Smith in Minot, North Dakota thinks about race when she plants peas in her garden. Or race affects how people buy snowblowers.
Libs would like Americans to think about nothing else but race, but that isn't how things work.

I subsisted on black licorice for almost a month in college one time when I didn't have any money but the cupboard in my apartment was loaded with packages of black licorice.
Since then, I cannot stand to look at black licorice, let alone stand the taste of it.

A great scene that I remember from “All In The Family”:Meathead and Lionel are talking and Meathead,as usual, starts talking about about racism, etc.Lionel listens patiently for a minute or so and when Meathead pauses Lionel says to him, very matter-of-factly...”hey,Mike...how come we never talk about the weather? You know,we black folks have weather too!”

It’s so true, we should focus on the stuff that ties us together.
