This election is not about “conservatism”, that’s how. It’s about the nation. It’s about a transnational one-party system that is stealing our country while it’s got us quibbling among ourselves about birth control and bathrooms.

With specific regard to the tactical issues: I do not believe Cruz is prepared to fight and win a national campaign. I have repeatedly asked his supporters to name the states adding up to 64 electoral votes that Romney lost that he can win. Apart from one cogent (fantasy) answer, all I’ve gotten is abuse. Rubio is a transnationalist/post nationalist person not qualified in my opinion for the office.

Had something similar - last August or thereabouts, CSPAN showing raw feed of Walker stumping in NH, like a mayor talking about drainage, good goobermint, painting lines down the highway, message was ok but the delivery was underwhelming; next up on CSPAN live Trump, stumping about 12 miles away, GOOD GAWD everything was an exclamation po!nt - stop illegal immigration! Iran deal catastrophic! stop corporate inversions! bring their money back into the country! And the crowd went wild.

Cruz has zero chance of every becoming President now. If he would kept his mouth shut, then he would have probably been the VP. Then the President in 8 years everyone would know him.

Now he’s just being used by the Establishment as a hammer on Trump.
Then once the Establishment are done using Cruz, to divide and conquer conservative votes, then the Establishment will shop a judge that will disqualify Cruz.

Then the GOPe will push Bush, Romeny or Rubio via the delegates at a brokered Republican convention. Think about it. The Establishment has been going after Trump since Summer. Now they are using Cruz and sadly many of his desperate supporters are falling for the Establishment trap hook, line and sinker. You are being used. Wake up!

Today will be very interesting. IF the Cruzers were already in a complete tizzy, when SARAH PALIN flies into IOWA and attends TRUMPs rally (whether or NOT she endorses TRUMP) will truly set them on a tear. Hopefully, she comes in on PEACE and can begin to put back together our team of front runners. Or, possibly the scale of battle will increase?

I watched that video and I think that the implications of it are being blown way out of proportion.

I GUARANTEE you that Ted Cruz’s campaign is not the only campaign to use professional production techniques, with a professional film crew, to create videos portraying the candidate and his family in a positive light, talking up his attributes and what he believes in.

Yes at this point I am leaning more to Trump, however the premise of this video “Cruz is such a phony” is scurrilous. There is nothing phony about the love Ted Cruz has for his family, and his family for him.
