I like his speech pattern in this video. He talks slower now, I guess to drive his points home, but I like this Ted better.

I Love Ted’s policy of Not letting them come back. Trump’s touch back amnesty to create millions of new Democrat voters is insane.

Trump supporters will always believe Cruz copied Trump’s wall position, because he said so.

Can it possibly get any clearer?

Only to those willing to listen.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Ted Cruz should be our nominee for President of the United States. He has a solid record as a conservative and stood against the establishment in Washington that was more interested in cutting deals with Obama. A great case can be made that Rubio has proven he will betray voters and Donald Trump is a liberal that talked his way up by talking the talk on immigration but will in all likelihood cut deals and sell out conservatives once in office. Look no further than Jimmy Carter’s endorsement of trump as someone who is “malleable” while opposing Cruz for an tually beliving and standing on conservative principles.

Like it. He says, I support. I would like him to be more like Trump by saying I will. I support seems weaker.

so how much has Senator Cruz actually accomplished other than to make stirring speeches and sponsor legistation that went nowhere?

Has he changed anything since 2011?

Where is an action team or coalition he ever assembled to make the changes he talks about?

talk is cheap

Yes, relaxed Ted, not slow, hushed, breathless, strident voice Ted. Message is better received when delivered in an easy, matter of fact way.

I'm not a Cruz guy, but this does accurately portray the reality of what he was trying to accomplish. It's the issue on which he is more of a reliable conservative than either Trump or Rubio.

Arguments to the contrary by supporters of other candidates are either disingenuous sophistry, or simply-ill informed. And I'm supporting Rubio, but I'm honest about my guy's warts.

1 Senator out of 100 - especially a junior Senator in the structurally-ossified Senate - can't change national policy on any more than can the governor of a state, or a private business man/woman.

That's exactly why they're all running for President.

And as a constitutionlist, what is a stand alone president going to do from the executive office?

You think making him the president gives him the power to change immigration policy? How? By executive order?

He cannot work alone. Nor does he have the power delegated by the Constitution to do so

He needs to work with the House and Senate whether he is a president or a senator. In other words “Lets make a deal”
How do you think that’s gonna work with a conservative who is considered unlikeable and inflexible - by his OWN PARTY? And if he gets “flexible” is he still your unswerving conservative?

Thus far he has never demonstrated the ability to accomplish anything by teamwork, executive direction or force of personality.

But - this is all moot. Cruz as head of the GOP ticket is unelectable.

No, Ted couldn't possibly get any clearer.

But it still won't be clear enough for certain dead enders here on FR.

The world will have to continue to rotate without them.

He talks about a wall when he’s trying to get elected. Once in office, soccer balls and teddy bears.

Or so it would appear.

“...Senator Cruz’s amendment intended to practically double the number of H-1B visas over that which was proposed in the Senate’s 2013 comprehensive immigration reform bill. Amendment 1587 also increased the number of H-1B visas and employment based green cards. Senator Cruz’s amendments would have also allowed the spouses of all H-1B visa holders to work legally — going beyond President Obama’s actions to increase work eligibly for those spouses...”
