I’m sorry you can’t or don’t want to grasp the concept of a poison pill amendment to kill a bill. I have followed Cruz since his Senate run. I don’t need someone backing a half baked, fowl mouthed, bipolar narcissist to tell me what Cruz’s position is on anything, much less an issue that we wouldn’t be talking about if he hadn’t defeated amnesty in 2013.

Trumps problem is he is for a wall, but letting all the illegals currently here eventually becoming citizens. He said as much when Romney was running for President. Hey but Trump will at least will work with the democrats, so that must be why you support him.

It doesn't matter that you agree with why he lied...he lied.
Under any other circumstance, making proposals to a legal document under false pretenses is not just a little white lie, it's fraud.
Now that everyone knows he's a liar (he admitted it) no one knows when he's not lying.

When Cruz joined the Senate he was given a rule book - it wasn't written by him. It was written long before and had been used by Senate club members to pass every piece of trash that has crippled our country. Every Senator knew the rules, used the rules, and apparently liked the parliamentary rules.
Cruz used their rule book to stop amnesty and beat club members at their own game. That includes using the poison pill gambit. This has made McConnell mad. And McCain mad. And Graham mad. And Shumer. All 99 club members are mad.
And you have seen sausage being made and you are mad.
You probably were opposed to Americans stealing the Jap code and shooting down Isoroku Yamamoto. “Totally unfair” you say.
But Trump games the U.S. bankruptcy laws and walks away from billions in debt - over, and over, and over, and over again - and you think that's fine. Even though he remains a yuge billionaire himself.
