EXCLUSIVE: Tea Party Founder: Rush, I Love You, But You’re Dead Wrong About Marco Rubio…

"Rush, I love you, but you're dead wrong about Marco Rubio - he's a sleazy snake and his electability is a myth." ~ Keli Carender, Founder of the modern day American Tea Party movement

I love Rush Limbaugh. I'm not afraid to admit it. I am a 30-something Ditto Head. He's one of my heroes, and always will be. Therefore, it pains me to write this, but it must be done. I can't listen to this defense of Marco Rubio as a full-throated conservative any longer without going a little crazy. So, here it goes. Rush, I love you, but you're wrong about Rubio's conservatism, and wrong to think that he has a good chance to win in November.

I feel confident in predicting that millions of conservatives will not vote for Marco Rubio should he become the Republican nominee for President. There are too many conservatives that don't trust him, and refuse to choose between the lesser of two evils yet again. And we are correct in our distrust of Marco Rubio. He is not the conservative he claims to be, and he will lose to Hillary or Bernie because a great enough number of conservatives and tea partiers will stay home rather than vote for him. It's not just the starring role Rubio played in the Gang of Eight, though considering the transformational nature of mass amnesty, it certainly is enough to rule out ever voting for him. It's also his lack of integrity and willingness to lie to us over and over again that will cause so many of us to vote third party, write in a name, or leave it blank in November. Seriously, at least Jeb! is honest and up front about his non-conservative opinions.

Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are often lumped together as sharing the same set of conservative values. NOT SO!

This article performs an analysis of the political career of Marco Rubio -- going all the way back to his days in the Florida legislature. This article, together with the Eagle Forum expose of Rubio is eye-opening, to say the least.

Rush is dead wrong on Rubio.
I started listening when searching for news when Saddam invaded Kuwait.
I don’t know if it’s a personal relationship blindspot or The Cheap Labor Express has gotten to him too.

In politics there are some sins that are unforgivable

Rubio being in the gang of right is one such transgression

Cruz and the vote for TPP may be another

Phyllis Schlafly knows more about conservatism and Mario Rubio than anybody else. I’ll go with her over Rush every time and twice on Sunday.

I don’t think he’s been bought out.

Lord, he has been anti-GOP since long before anybody else even thought about it.

I’m wondering if he thinks Rubio is the best shot to beat the Dems.

But that alone isn’t good for most of us and I wouldn’t think it would be good enough for Rush either.

Maybe they know each other personally. Maybe Rubio has sworn to certain principles in front of Rush, but is campaigning in a way he thinks will let him win.

That too isn’t good enough for me or probably you. Intentions are bullshit. Hidden intentions are worse. You either believe it and live it-—as Reagan did in most matters-—or you are likely to blow in the wind.

As Phyllis Schafly has pointed out Rubio has already shown himself to be a bald-faced liar, and that was merely at the state level.

With all the pressures and levers and toys of the presidency, Rubio could be a Obama-grade disaster.

I think Rush is just hoping desperately (and mistakenly) for a win.

I get the Gang of 8 thing; however, just out of curiosity, did Trump change his mind on illegal immigration very recently or has he maintained the same position all along?

Bravo!

As Breitbart News has previously reported Rupert Murdoch, Fox News founder, is the co-chair of what is arguably one of the nations most powerful immigration lobbying firms, the Partnership for a New American Economy.

Via his lobbying firm, Murdoch endorsed Sen. Marco Rubio.

If that comes to pass I think it is reasonably likely Bernie will be our next President.

That statement says it all about where the writer is coming from.

I posted earlier today that Rush is wrong on Rubio.

The writer of this article is correct. Many conservatives won’t vote for Rubio because they don’t trust him.

Maya try Rush after the primaries. He has completely lost his credibility on his love for Rubio.

Somebody please send me a message if Rush ever mentions Congresss constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

Rush must be chasing the money like Glenn Beck.

Rush sure is wrong about M. Rubio, the boy in the bubble. This undercuts Rush's credibility. Are his sponsors putting pressure on him? Is there some link between him and Rubio?

The only thing Rubio has done is push amnesty and now give hope to those who want to eliminate nbc criteria. He is controlled by special interests and has no skills, only potential scandals than can sink him.

That would be stupid.

I agree. Rush has finally jumped the shark in regards to Rubio. Too bad.
