They’d rather look good and lose than admit Trump is the best candidate
Coach is Right ^ | 1/6/16 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

Our nation is in deep trouble. Our world is burning down and an anti-American in the White House is fanning the flames. We the people who love America must do something to save ourselves now! We have been let down by the fake conservatives we sent to Washington to put out the fire and start fixing the damage. They have laughed in our faces. We have reluctantly put our faith in the Supreme Court to halt the advance of unconstitutional legislation; but the justices have stabbed us in the back and twisted the blade with smug talk about the fix being “up to the people.”

Until last summer we had no one to champion our cause. It was only us. That has changed with the emergence of Donald Trump as the frontrunner in the Republican primaries. We now have a once in a lifetime opportunity to fix what is wrong and save our country; and we simply cannot squander it.

Yet there are those whose demands for conservative purity have caused them to first scoff at Trump, then throw their “Flavor of the Month” candidate at him to take him out. Since that didn’t work they are lecturing us and pushing Ted Cruz, a man who is a proven liar. Worse still, more than a third of voters believe Cruz is not eligible to be the president. Ted Cruz is not an alternative, but just another way to pat us on the head and tell us to “run along.”

These chattering purists are frightened of losing their influence...

I might ask you the same thing considering Trump is a constitutional illiterate and a progressive.

“Legal status,” Trump suggested. “We got to move ‘em out, we’re going to move ‘em back in if they’re really good people.”..

Spare me the massive cutting and pasting. This is not touch-back where all the illegals go out, sign up, and come right back. I have seen Trump's speeches on the subject. You have a large number of illegals actually getting public assistance, while some are professionals - they can get priority. So what the hell is your problem? I don't see 'touch-back' in this at all.

Look at your hero Cruz. He proposed amendments to the 'gang of eight' bill that would have created a prohibition on federal, state, or local means-tested entitlement benefits for those here illegally - he also wanted to guarantee legalization to all the illegals (short of citizenship was a ruse).

Cruz categorically stated that birthright citizenship (anchor babies) is Constitutional (2011), he has summarily lied about his previous position and said he ran against anchor babies in his first Senate race.

And finally, Cruz claims he will only deport criminal illegals that are apprehended. So, why the hell are you supporting that. The truth is, Cruz has lied and dissembled on the entire issue, all the while trying to make Trump look soft because Trump wants the exemplary folks back in legally.

Now, does that sum it up for you. Apparently, you are totally ignorant on the position of your guy.

“Spare me the massive cutting and pasting. This is not touch-back where all the illegals go out, sign up, and come right back. “

Don’t lie. That is exactly what he said. Send them all back, and then bring “the good ones” in on an expedited approach. That IS the definition of touch-back amnesty!

You only like it now because you like anything Donald dishes out.

“Look at your hero Cruz. He proposed amendments to the ‘gang of eight’ bill...”

And Jeff Sessions has already back Cruz’s statement that those were poison pill amendments.

“And finally, Cruz claims he will only deport criminal illegals that are apprehended...”

Actually, he stated again what is true - if you cut off benefits and jobs, the illegals will deport themselves.

Summary, Cruz is the establishment candidate that will not deport any illegal that is here on public assistance, just the criminals (or so he says) - the Romney approach, and Cruz was for anchor babies before he was against it.

Trump will send them all back and give preference to professionals. That is not touch-back amnesty. But whatever you call it... how can you support someone who will not deport anybody, really, versus someone with a solid plan that gets the deadbeats out

Also, nice of you to ignore a typical Cruz hypocrisy on the anchor baby position, which is very consistent with the so called poison pill issue of not wanting to deport anybody.

“Trump will send them all back and give preference to professionals. That is not touch-back amnesty.”

That is the DEFINITION of touch back amnesty, which was anathema until the New York Messiah started preaching it.

“versus someone with a solid plan that gets the deadbeats out”

Cruz HAS a solid plan. It has worked before. Self-deportation by cutting off benefits and jobs WORKS. We’ve seen a downturn in the economy result in self-deportation.

If you try ARRESTING people, you will be forced to give them all trials. With lawyers. In the courts. And no one will go anywhere.

Good post. While I recognize that Trump is not the perfect conservative, in my opinion, he represents the only chance we have to upset the apple cart in Washington and get the nation started on the right track.

We have been betrayed by politicians on both sides of the fence for decades now. Ronald Reagan was the only exception and he was also not a career politician. It's time to bring somebody in at the top from the outside.

Posters on both sides sometimes have a problem understanding the difference between legal and illegal immigration..

With the former, the government, through a set of coded laws, can control the spigot as to where from and how many, based on THIS country's needs and desires.

They can shut the spigot off completely if conditions warrant, or open it up as needed.

Illegal is simply no control, no borders, no say so as to how many, where from.

The current danger is not only illegal immigration per se, but stealth infiltration by enemy combatants.

And that's all the American people are asking for.

Control by our government, that works in OUR best interests, not the globalists, elites, liberal transformationalists, Democrat vote farmers, and businesses looking for cheap illegal labor.

In 2013 Cruz said it wasn't amnesty if there's no path to citizenship. He supported legalization.

Cruz Tries to Claim the Middle Ground on Immigration

"When it comes to immigration reform, Senator Ted Cruz has made it abundantly clear what he opposes: giving citizenship to people who broke the law to come here.

What has not been as evident is what he supports: legal status for millions of people here already, while making it easier for immigrants to come here through the front door.

"I have said many times that I want to see common-sense immigration reform pass," he said."

That is the DEFINITION of touch back amnesty

I suggest you stop the stupid campaign meme. Touch-back amnesty is when all illegals... pay attention here... all illegals go home and get expedited. Stop with the BS, please. I don't care what the newsies say, or what Cruz says... or even what all the establishment types and fanboys like you say: it ain't touch-back when professional types get preference and the deadbeat illegals living in sanctuary cities on the public dole get booted.

Your guy, Cruz, is just like all the other establishment, globalist hacks who claim to only deport criminals but will keep all the deadbeat sanctuary illegals in place.

What is truly disgusting is that you, Cruz.. Rubio and all the others, are trying to claim your approach is stronger than Trump, when in reality you intend to continue not enforcing the law while stringing along the 'self deportation' lie.

Yes we could all FEEL sooooo much better watching Sanders take the oath because our OH SO CONSERVATIVE candidate Ted Cruz was ruled ineligible to run by the Supreme Court when it opened its fall calendar in October and the Republicans have no candidate.

Your attempt at sarcasm is a sign that you really don’t understand what is at stake.

Actually, since I'm a person who believes the bible I'm not that terribly concerned about "what's at stake". I see a bigger picture.
