TODAY WAS A TURNING POINT
Donald Trump's campaign, until today, has been much more than a mere "movement". It has been a peaceful revolution.
Today that changed. Today was a turning point.
If Trump had NOT "postponed" the event it would have become a major riot. It would have been easy for the MSM, GOPe, etc., to blame that riot on Trump. It would have been a bombshell of negative publicity designed to finally take down the evil villain, Donald Trump.
By postponing, Mr. Trump defused the bombshell and may even have gained a few sympathy/anger points in Tuesday's elections. Good call.
But longer term we are CERTAIN to see a LOT more of this. The seeds have been sown, and in the enemy's eyes they won their first victory even though they did not get the riot they hoped for. They will riot at every Trump rally they can bring sufficient numbers of "protesters" to. The more publicity each "riot" gets, the more "protesters" at the next.
They will have the MSM, the GOPe, and the Dem/gimmedat population on their side every time. It is well established that paid disruptors have been hired in the past, and we will see a lot more of that as well.
The narrative is already in place: Trump is so "hateful" that he has inspired these poor people to riot in despair. He will tear this country apart if he gets the nomination. He MUST be stopped for the good of the country and the entire world. If he wins the nomination the conflict will escalate much further. (The powers that be will make sure of it.)
All of this means we will be facing increasing civil unrest for the rest of the year. None of us can know in advance how bad it will get, but rest assured there are extremely powerful people who would rather see the whole house burn down than relinquish power.
We are living through what has thus far been a peaceful revolution. Today was planned to be the day the revolution turned violent. More days like today are certain to come. Someday the violence will come too. They can and will make sure of it.
Our Constitution was built to accommodate a peaceful revolution. We are going to see that put to the test in 2016. But peacefully or otherwise, It is a test we must not fail.

Ted Cruz was always my guy, but no more. I'm sickened by his comments. He shows weakness, not strength. Nobody has to bow to BLM or Occupy folks - NOBODY. I believe Donald Trump's ratings will rise because of what happened today in Chicago. The silent majority in America is sick of this stuff.
Cruz is committing political suicide in real time right before our eyes. A very sad thing to watch.
Not a Trump supporter, but I hope his security is top notch. Between Black Lives Matter, La Raza, Socialists Demorcats, the Clintons and the GOPe, there is going to be all out efforts to kill him.
It is a coordinated effort run out of the white house, moveon.org, and SEIU.
We’ve been saying this for 20 years now and they still shut us down whenever they want to and we do nothing. If the leaders of moveon.org and SEIU can be identified, why is life still comfortable for them. I hope DJT sues them. Supporting and paying to shut down a free speech event and causing harm to so many has to be against the law. Go for the leaders. Oh I wish I was younger.
I understand your point, but disagree. The protesters in 1968 rioted because they wanted to be heard, but today's Children Of The Corn are creating mayhem to prevent others from being heard. What's worse, they think they won tonight because Trump canceled the rally, so you can bet that this tactic will spread to other cities when Trump appears. With the little Stalinists spoiling for the fight they didn't get tonight, this is liable to get very ugly.

I wonder if there is some way we can band together and bring a suit against moveon.org? They have denied our free speech by shutting down our candidate who speaks for us. I have been emotionally harmed tonight and I’m an old lady.

I’d also like to see off duty cops hired by Trump dispersed throughout the crowd.
The only way Trump will ever be able to hold another rally is with his supporters showing force. There needs to be a ring of armed protectors surrounding the event.
Unfortunately, it also sends the message to the thugs that they can shut him down whenever they want to.
