Chicago Protests Not About Trump
Canada Free Press ^ | Douglas V. Gibbs

Posted on 03/12/2016 6:28:36 AM PST by Sean_Anthony

Protest was the work of community organizers, socialists who know the Alinsky plan. Carefully orchestrated, and has less to do with Trump, and more to do with the fundamental transformation of the United States

Professional Protesters have arrived in Chicago, and scored a win for their efforts to silence opposition to liberal left politics because they believe their freedom of speech is more important than anyone else’s, and all others must be silenced.

The claim of hate-speech is an attempt to silence opposition. Trump’s verbalized positions regarding immigration and the influx of terrorists through the import of Muslim migrants is the claimed reason for the protests in Chicago last night, but the people accusing Trump of being a hater showed America their own version of disgusting hate. The hypocrisy of the liberal left was apparent to everyone, except them.

We used to call the ones that tried to assimilate negroes. The rest we just called what they are.

This is what my wife just said this morning.

We are Trump supporters if only because so many that we oppose are against him.

Folks, we are not going to get through this without violence. Let's stop pretending we are and face it squarely. These people need to get the crap beat out of them, or we need to copy their tactics and start raising hell at Bernout and Mrs. Slick rallies.

The media are trying to spin this as a groundswell of resistance to Trump's "racism" and "xenophobia" and all the rest of the standard labels he's been pasted with. But the fact is, the groundswell is in the opposite direction; it's people fed up with liberal hypocrisy, meddling government, and an arrogant, ineffective prick in the White House.

If there's this kind of "protest" at Republican primary rallies, can you imagine the chaos once Trump is nominated and starts to campaign against the Arkansas Fellow Traveler? Or once he's actually elected and starts to implement his policies?

These "protests" are nothing more than mob rule. And we either fight them or we succumb.

Blaming those who’ve had their First Amendment rights (peaceable assembly, political speech) forcibly stripped from them is just a non-starter.

We have suffered 7+ years of insults from the current.

No, that's NOT what we need.

The riots will actually help Trump by pushing registered Democrats away from the rioters and into the welcoming arms of Trump.

That means Trump benefits from having them stirred up and wanting to riot, right?

Hogwash. Trump stands for rebellion against the status quo. He stands for an unapologetic return to the values that made America great, and that includes the courage to fight the forces that would silence us.

The media will pillory Trump no matter what he does. They consider his supporters knuckle-draggers anyway, so let's give them a show they'll long remember.

I'm all for busting heads.

‘’Professional Protesters’’ is a euphemism for socialist revolutionaries.

The revolution has arrived. All it took for the revolutionaries to take over Chicago and Cincinnati in a mere two days were threats of violence against an opposition candidate, Donald Trump, who surrendered to the threats.

Now all the socialist revolutionaries have to do is also intimidate Hillary Clinton to the point of cancelling her speeches, and it will be on to the White House for Bernie Sanders, whose heroes in building utopias are Lenin, Stalin, and Fidel Castro.

“That means Trump benefits from having them stirred up and wanting to riot, right? “

More like Unintended Consequences, I think. It’s what happens when the left no longer totally controls the narrative or the dissemination of information.

Black thugs need to ‘matter’ ... but within the law.

Disrupting legal political gatherings with intent to create violence is NOT within the law.

Police and Trump staff must set up a ‘protest’ area outside of Trump events... with chain link fence around it. If ‘protesters’ leave that area with intent of violence or ‘shutting down’ legal gatherings, they should be arrested.

I can assume you, if Trump supporters went to a Bernie Sanders event and acted out like BLM the press would be condemning the Trump people. It's time to deal with these issues honestly and to stop double standards.

OK. That leaves us with two possible scenarios.

1. If it's unintended consequences, the Trump wasn't smart enough or experienced enough to be able to predict this would happen.

or

2. He is smart/experienced enough to predict it, and the consequences are as intended.

If you have reason to believe the latter is possible, then you also have to consider the possibility the he's doing it on purpose.

He should keep them out of inner city shit holes like Chicago. Have the rallies in places that make the scumbags have to travel.

You're absolutely right! "Divisive" is what it's all about, and Cruz is a whoosie calling this a mere "discord".

Cruz is not the tough guy he paints himself to be!  A strong man, a true conservative would have called last night's Bill Ayers led shenanigans for it was, not blame it on his opponent.

Cruzers, what you see is what you'd get with a Cruz presidency: backing off and appeasing to the liberal mob.
