MAKE AMERICA BEG AGAIN!

Trump’s Delegates Are Now Begging for Money Online If Trump’s delegates can’t make it to the Republican convention in Cleveland this July, he could become just a weird footnote in primary history. So why isn’t he paying to get them there?

Donald Trump may be really, really rich, but it’s not apparent that he’s using his great fortune to get his delegates to the Republican convention in July. Trump is lucky his supporters are loyal. Like, beg for money on the Internet loyal.

At least seven Trump delegates have resorted to crowdfunding to send themselves to the convention, setting up pages on GoFundMe, a popular fundraising platform, asking for sums ranging from $1,000 to to $10,000.

While their tenacity is a testament to the enthusiasm surrounding Trump’s campaign, it also calls into question whether his operation is organized enough to secure his nomination on the convention floor in Cleveland if he fails to earn the 1,237 delegates necessary to win outright before July. Because if his delegates don’t show, they don’t get to vote.

“That’s the trouble with dragging warm bodies off the street opposed to delegates that are familiar with and have worked in the system.”

Just in case you haven’t noticed the American public is sick of the “the way we used to do it.” For you to argue that Cruz and his campaign is skilled in “politics as usual”
is, in todays political climate, a huge negative.

Congress critters like Cruz enjoy a whopping 7% approval. Argue and argue, but NEVER get anything done! Even when they do get something accomplished its always the WRONG thing!

Part of Trump’s charm is that he is doing well despite not being a skilled political animal.....Businessmen get things done, they don’t waste time with the political machine intricacies.

we need is a president that is good at paperwork...........we need a lawyer; a bureaucrat; an insider that plays the game.

Ummm, don't we have that now? We need a business savvy wheeler dealer that hates PC crap.

And Trump supporters aren’t alone; delegates for Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders have asked the Internet for help funding their travel, too.

Too bad you didn't bother to go read the article, you could have saved yourself the embarrassment of exposing yourself, at least on this one post of looking like an asshole.

But then, that would be out of character for you.

If its not dark Trump goggles, then what seems to be blinding Trumpies from being able to see reality?

There are too many previously good Freeper hardrock conservatives who didn’t buy into a PT Barnum style scam, until Trump started playing his Pied Piper tune. What made all of you all change so dramatically?

Trump Team may be slow to react to the money problem

Is that like Trump paying up to the Vet’s Orgs he used for a campaign ploy? Show the Vets the money!

Trump can hire lawyers by the thousands.

Yes indeed he can, but but but just for himself.

Trump looks to be the modern poster boy for Penny-wise and Pound foolish. Or as we say in Texas, he’ll step over a dollar to pick up a dime.

See post 45
“Trump is providing transportation to and from Cleveland for his delegates. I know this for a fact because I am applying to be a delegate again, and I just got the paperwork from the Trump campaign regarding this.”

What say you, now?

I don’t have an answer to Trump’s situation with the vets.

As for this money problem with the delegates, the delegates should have known the costs going into the delegate selection process. I have had several opportunities to become a delegate to the GOP Convention. I did not enter the selection process because I did not want to pay the costs. I am waiting for a convention closer to home where I don’t have to pay the high airfare costs and can drive my car to the event. I also have my time share for my lodging which will include a fully equipped kitchen.

I prefer the delegate rules here in South Dakota where one has to prove up front, that is prove they already have the specified funds needed per SD GOP delegate rules, before they can even be considered as a delegate to the national convention.

I’m with you on the exorbitant costs involved with playing in that game.

Even though most of us never knew much of them, there obviously has been a diehard bunch in this process from when “parties” got started.

It is a “club” so to speak that although is not totally exclusive, it does requitre anyone wanting to successfully participate better be prepared to start at the absolute ground level otherwise find themselves in the predicaments the “newby” delegates are in.

Trump did not do well in putting too many eggs in Corey’s basket, who more or less produced these unprepared delegates. Donald simply hired a guy that must have really impressed him, but who did not have the gravitas to run a real national organization. In my experience, in and out of sales, a successful sales person is the easiest to sell a bill of goods to, because they think they are too smart to get snookered.

Chump change for Trump, he should help them all, or don’t know why the RNC doesn’t take care of their expenses.
