If my memory serves me properly, one of the more disturbing parts of Barbara’s book was that around the time when stuff involving Filegate and the WH travel office firings began to come out, that’s when she came out with her “It Takes A Village” book and she had Oprah and all of her elite media friends and Hollyweird cover her sorry ass with this book and other sympathetic coverage.

The warning sign actually happened in 1974 when she was fired from “The Watergate Committee” for misconduct.
