Honestly, I felt some of the episodes this season were filled types. I would. I would not mind shorter “get to the point” seasons.

I don’t see how the dead prince’s mistress gets to rule Dorne, but maybe as regent for her daughters.
Highgarden’s queen won’t last long, and their challenge is finding an heir in the show, though in the books, Loras had brothers.
Yara/Asha versus her uncle is a legitimate fight unless Daenerys lends an army to secure Yara/Asha’s claim.
Cersei will go, eventually, and I’m guessing her own brother will do it per her actions destroying the Sept. A la prophecy.
Sansa will either:
A. marry her cousin and/or Littlefinger and be Queen of the Eyrie as thanks for the military support
B. marry/rejoin Tyrion and become Queen of Casterly Rock, possible to secure the North to Daenerys as an alliance with her Hand
C. marry Littlefinger as Queen of whatever domain he carves out
D. Jon marries Danerys to seal the North and song of Ice and Fire, while Sansa is Queen of the North with Littlefinger or Tyrion as her King.

“Cersei has no claim to the throne and Westerosi laws of succession (outside of Dorne) favor males over females.”

Cersei has a claim as wife of Robert Baratheon. The laws favor males over females, certainly, but they don’t preclude females if there are no males left to inherit (just look at Lady Lyanna Mormont, a nine year old girl who inherited the lordship of her house).

“So, theoretically, Jamie would have a better claim to the throne than she does.”

Jaime is a knight of the kingsguard so he forsook any claims he might have had, which would have been pretty weak to begin with, as a brother-in-law on the female side.

Tyrion thought the whole attitude was just because he was a dwarf, but Tywin always denied he cared about that when it came up, his grievance was always that he didn’t think Tyrion was his son.

And Tyrion's last words before Tywin killed him, "You're no son of mine".

I think Tywin will ride that green dragon in battle. If Tywin and Jon Snow both have Targaryen blood, they may both be dragon riders.

Someone did a fascinating analysis of the trait as X linked.
One X chromosome = dragon rider
Two X chromosomes = dragon hatcher
And someone figured this out, hence the murders / disappearances and forcing of specific princesses to become septas (nuns). Then the men of their lineage didn’t matter because they couldn’t father sons to ride dragons or daughters to hatch them.
Under this theory, Rhaegar found out about skin changing / warging in the Stark lineage and suspected it was similar to whatever magical gene let you ride/hatch dragons (telepathy?), so that’s why he wanted Lyanna. To hatch children that could bring back the dragon hatching ...

You’re really reaching there. We’ve had no clue that the storylines have diverged at all as regards Robert’s rebellion.

Good points. However, Jamie is no longer a knight of the Kingsguard. He was removed by Tommen. Not sure what happens now, but I would think that he could inherit titles and lands again (if Cersei allows it).

Yes, it seems like the other noble families in Dorne don’t seem to care. I guess Oberyn’s oldest bastard daughter would become the heir even though they were responsible for assassinating the Prince and heir of Dorne.

True, I guess he could inherit now, but he would have to make a claim if anyone disputed him, and he doesn’t seem to have any interest in that.

But Kevan and Lancel Lannister were killed, too. Jamie appears to be the only Lannister left who can inherit Casterly Rock.

I wonder if he’s feeling like he’s repeating the past where he killed Aerys II to keep the king from “burning them all”. Now it’s his twin sister who seems to have gone completely crazy.

Yeah I think that’s exactly what he was thinking during the coronation.

In the books, the legitimate daughter of the dead king was made Queen by the death of her father and brother, so it was the Sand Snakes acting to support their female cousin over the weak king and brother.
But she was also a legitimate heir to the throne.

Then again; isn’t Jon Snow the son of a brother and sister? During the dream into the past the dying mom to the newborn Jon Snow called Ned Stark brother. Is he the father too?

No. Lyana Stark was either kidnapped, or ran away with, Rhaegar Targaryan. Jon Snow is their child. Ned Stark is Lyana's brother, and she was begging him to raise the child as his own because Robert Baratheon, who Lyana was betrothed to, would kill the child if he knew that Jon was a Targaryan. So, Jon is not Lyanna and Ned's child --- he is Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryan's child.

Also, wouldn’t Tyrion qualify as the “little” sibling?

Thanks. A person on another forum pointed out this link to me. It explains a lot but sometimes I think I need one of those graph trees you see on whiteboards with pictures and names to really grasp it.

Couldn’t little sibling also be Aria?

Or maybe - I have seen no mention of Brianne. I think she
could possible take Cersei out for Jaime (she likes him).
Based on the look Jaime gave Cersei he objects to what she has done...

Vox is an uber-lib site. If you like graphs and such, try scrolling down to the family tree at the following link:

http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Rhaegar

They need to add the link between Rhaegar and Lyanna to Jon, but it does a pretty good job of showing the Targaryen family.

My guess is Snow won’t find out about his lineage until he is married to the blonde chick with the dragons. Ewwww, more incest.
