I actually considered “wired for sound.” However, that’s not what those systems look like. The transmitters are basically rectangular shaped, and the wires are far thinner that what you can see here.
That thing on her back is something else.

The lecterns did, but my understanding is SOP includes double-miking the candidates in case a lectern mike fails.
That said, the thing on Hillary’s back does not look like any mike pack I have ever seen or used. And I have seen and used a LOT...
