At the end of the first presidential debate hillary clinton hammered Donald Trump with a bathroom sink of personal insults. Despite the door being opened wide, Trump in turn declined to hurl invective at hillary over bill clinton's peccadilloes. He explained his reasoning:
I didnt want to... attack her husband on what took place with respect to him and his life and all of the things that took place because Chelsea, who I happen to think is a wonderful young lady was in the room.Apparently Chelsea and Ivanka Trump have been friends for some time, but that sure didn't stop Chelsea from repaying Trump's kindness by slamming him:
And candidly, I dont remember a time in my life when my parents and my family werent being attacked, and so it just sort of seems to be in that tradition, unfortunately. And what I find most troubling by far are Trumps and we talked about this when you interviewed me the night before the Iowa caucus are Trumps continued, relentless attacks on whole swaths of our country and even our global community: women, Muslims, Americans with disabilities, a Gold Star family. I mean, that, to me, is far more troubling than whatever his most recent screed against my mom or my family [is].In 2012 Mitt Romney took the high road.
He lost.
The obama syndicate painted Romney- probably one of the most decent people on the planet- as a liar, tax cheat, felon and even murderer. They even put a dunce cap on him:
John McCain also lost by trying to be a gentleman. Those days are over. Conservative candidates are facing unimagined levels of fraud and abuse on the parts of democrats- a complete loss of civility, led by adolescent, immature young "men" like George Stephanopoulos, David Plouffe and Robbie Mook. And of course, there's obama's speechwriter Jon Favreau:
One person who isn't taking this lightly is Juanita Broaddrick:

He can continue to be nice but please, don’t leave so much on the table.
I agree. He shouldn’t be Mitt Romney.
That was his first one on one debate. He no doubt knew he made mistakes, and as you said, left too much on the table. You won’t see passiveness from him in the next two debates. Too much is at stake.
I recommend this very measured response: “Eff you, Mrs Clinton, and the horse you rode in on”.
Being “presidential” and having a good “temperament” is the biggest sham in politics. I can’t believe Trump is falling for it.
It’s simply forces the Republican to take all incoming insults and smears.
Bush was “presidential” and left the white house with a 27% approval.
McCain and Romney acted “presidential” while being called racists, bigots, murderers, etc. Both lost with class, though. As the media laughed.
....one Juanita Broderick response to Chelsea’s defense of her “parents”
Your parents are not good people, and Your father was, and probably still is, a sexual predator...”
I want to see Trump be vicious in the next debate. He needs to interrupt more - challenge every lie in real time. He also needs to let Crooked Hillary know what he really thinks of her. Call her out. Keep it real. He should be Trump - f-bombs and all. Be the REAL Trump. People will eat it up and support him overwhelmingly.
I love Trump and I am going to vote for Trump!
I hate to admit it BUT in Donald’s own words!
He choked!

Republican candidates tend to be more vicious BEFORE they win their nomination. For example, both Romney and McCain were BRUTAL against their opponents in the primaries.
Mitt Romney won the first debate in 2012, going away. He just killed it. It was like he was debating a 12-year-old.
His campaign for his 2nd term is going just fi....oh, yeah, that’s right, he LOST the election.
I won’t dismiss the fact that Trump didn’t do well after the first 20-30 minutes (he did very well early on), that he left a lot of criticism of her on the table. But that’s not everything by a long shot. I strongly believe the following (posted by another FReeper yesterday, I don’t remember who):
Trump is a salesman trying to close what is perhaps the biggest deal of his career. He has 3 shots at it in front of the customer:
First debate - show that you’re not disqualified right out of the gate. Show that your not an ogre, that you care about the American people, and that you’re not going to start a war with Russian or China.
Second debate - show that your competition is not up to the job. THIS is where he will clobber her on the corruption and incompetence (though he might need 5 or 6 hours to do that). Show that she’s in it for herself, and doesn’t care about the American public...but that you do.
Third debate - show why you and your policies WILL bring back jobs, WILL safeguard the country, etc.
Remember, Trump is a long-range strategist - you don’t turn a $1 million loan into nearly $10 billion in 45 years without doing that, and doing it exceptionally WELL. He has a plan, and still has the time to implement it.
Bring up that tax thing again and hammer her with it. “Hillary (no more of this ‘Secretary Clinton’ B.S.), my tax records aren’t under subpoena. Your emails were and still are and you had them and all of the devices destroyed anyway.”
Destroy her with the truth! That is all you have to do.
Focus on Hillary’s deeds, not those of her husband. That wastes time and energy. Focus on what she left undone such as in Bengazi. Focus on her Saudi donors, and how they treat women or gays. You don’t need to issue judgement, simply report what is.
That’s right, sagar, remember how Trump in March boasted that he couldn’t wait to take the gloves after Mrs. Bill. But he has been too reticent out of fear that the media will hammer away at “temperament.”
That is a very good point.
The Alpha Male sounded a little omega when he was whining about the strong stuff he didn’t say.
I think they were trying everything they could to get under Trumps skin.
The lying, the handsignals and bias are perfect examples of the dishonesty that Trump so often rails against.
I believe Trump handled himself very well in that situation.
He was calm and decent and IMO Hillary looks very bad in comparison.
All I thought of during the debate is what a lying conniving b$@ch she is.
If Trump would have completely unloaded on her it would have distracted from that point.
Trump is handing her enough rope to hang herself.
Hes very good at that.
(SOB) The kindly Clinton solidarity just never ends. "Incidentally Chelsea, did your
kindly sensitive parents tell you daddy got a BJ as you left the WH in that classic
"Clinton solidarity pose" on the vintage TIME cover below?"

STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE
"I never had sexual relations with that woman...Miss Lewinsky."
One Clinton lies .....
...... and the other one swears to it.
=============================================
VINTAGE TIME COVER The Clintons leave the WH
arm-in-arm after Bill got lewinskied. Plotting to exploit
Bill's BJ for votes, the Clintons' political apparat never faltered.
Hillary later went on network TV all decked out in virginal pearls,
denying everything, blaming Billy's B/J on "an invention of
the VRWC."
Bill later admitted to it, was impeached, and disbarred.
Clinton was a tax-paid govt employee using tax -paid offices
but the sucker claimed it was his business what he did there (groan).

CLINTON SOLIDARITY
"Smile everybody. Another $100 million came in today.
I wonder how much taxes the Clinton Foundation paid. I’m guessing nada too.
