It seems all of CNN’s bashing of Donald Trump and sucking up to Hillary Clinton in 2016 did nothing to score a higher ratings win for the network.
Not only did CNN come in behind rival Fox News Channel in the ratings lineup, it was knocked out of even third place by the very non-news network, HGTV.
Home & Garden Television was the third most-watched cable network in 2016, right behind ESPN and first place winner Fox News,

Thanks to Chip and Joanna Gaines and their great “Fixer Upper” show, HGTV has hit ratings gold.
Well yeah, even watching plants grow is more animated than that dumb network. And it’s a 1000 times more honest.

My wife loves that show and admires that couple. I’ve never watched it; so busy fixin up broke stuff around the house.
I prefer entertainment over news too. What’s the point. CNN is awful. MSNBC is worse. FOX is barely ok. News sucks. I get most of mine here. I confess to watching about an hour or so of Fox and Friends in the AM then the news goes OFF. I check the headlines here at at FR during the day then follow links that seem like real news stories.
I start with Breitbart, followed by Drudge, Daily Caller, Lifezette, then clean up with FR while listening to Breitbart News Daily.
Every so often the Mrs. will turn on F&F if she gets up early. I typically have the browser with a tab set to FR so I can click and see the news long before any one else even gets close to it.
That was how I started. I clean up the day with Lou Dobbs. We record Carlson for viewing at our leisure.
But but but HOW can THIS be? Clinton News Network is so very liberal and THAT is just what people want, right?

I see quite a few libs getting their “news” from the Comedy Channel anyway. CNN should get some washed up comedians to improve their ratings. Rosaanne Barr, Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O’Donnell, etc...
For me, it’s the Food Network.

Can’t stand the commercials on Breitbart and find Drudge’s format difficult to use. I start here then use the links here to go to other sites like Breitbart etc.
So support FR to keep the commercials away.
