It’s been brewing since the late 60’s. We used to call them Greeners. They’ve always been petulant and comical. With age comes wisdom, but sometimes age comes alone. The “school” doesn’t seem to have learned much. Most of the rest of the world has grown up.
I can just see it now ... human resource person responsible for going through resumes will see “Graduate of Evergreen College” and will immediately throw it in the trash.
The teachers now were the students who were part of SDS and the Weather Undergound in the 60s. So this is no surprise - these students today will become faculty members next (they won’t be able to get jobs in the private sector) and the cycle will repeat itself.
What would you think if you say “Evergreen” on a job applicant resume? Just curious.

FYI - they don’t calculate GPAs at Evergreen, its considered racist.

Sell it as excess.

To become a true cult, they need only find a charismatic leader. The other ingredients—angry, shared belief system, high emotional loading, lack of critical thinking, absence of a sense of individual personal responsibility—are all there.

Of course they will gladly turn on "one of their own" as they do not recognize a single group responsibility such as being a "member of the Jones family" or "I am an American."

Reminds me of the LIL Abner comic strip fifty years ago. The Hippie SWINE (Students Wildly Indignant about Nearly Everything) take over the University making demands.
The administration is so fearful of the SWINE they decide to sell the University to the Mafia who then bring in mob enforcers.
Here come the SWINE rioting! The moment the Hippie front tooth assaults the enforcer’s brass knuckles is still a fresh and pleasant memory to me after all these years.
I love it. The college trained the street thugs to rise up against their “oppressors”. Only problem, is the college is one of the “oppressors” and is getting what it deserves.
