If Mueller were an honest man he would resign. His association with Comey is to close

***********

Absolutely true. An honest man would do the honorable thing and resign. But his refusal to do so tells us everything we need to know about him and what his intentions are.

Trump has made this mess. I can’t believe how stupid he has been. He should not fire Mueller. He should ignore him. Just don’t talk about it. Move on. I never agree with Lindsey Graham but I have to on this one. Trump will be the first innocent man who has been convicted because he could not just shut up. Its like he’s picking at a sore. He is just making it worse. If he says nothing it will go away.

Trump has to remember that Russians have actually done something. Russians may actually have programmers in the US. It may not be about Trump or his campaign. It may have nothing to do with Flynn. So Trump should let it go. Let the spies look into Trump and see if someone helped the Russians. Its ok. The reality is that they weren’t in the Trump campaign. At least not originally. Since the Russians were at it from the beginning, long before Trump won the nomination.

Who appointed Mueller as Special Council in the first place?

Trump himself? Or was it someone in the Justice Department, with Trump’s approval? Did Trump have a veto over the appointment?

If the answer to any of those questions is “yes”, Trump would look pretty bad firing him now. Otherwise, fire him the first time he makes a misstep.

Trump is accomplishing more in a shorter time than any president in history. The constant stream of fake news has made this possible. While the MSM and libs have been distracted Trump has fundamentally transformed the government. He has signed 42 bills into law and reversed tens of thousands of bad regulations. That is only the beginning. His effectiveness in international policy has been astounding. Within one year the swamp will effectively be drained and the Democrat party will be sold for $1.

I gotta agree with that. One rule of warfare is don’t do what your enemy wants you to do.

How about, “No, there’s nothing to investigate, and appointing him in the first place was just wasteful, partisan jackassery”?

No I wouldn’t fire Mueller just yet....the Dems and media are itching to see that happen but if Trump and team have evidence against Comey then it’s best to take him down which then destroys Mueller efforts big time

This is the play I'd make. Destroy Comey, destroy Mueller. Simple as that.

That statement might get you in trouble here. Nevertheless, you are right. Trump’s first mistake was not fully vetting Flynn. Then Trump fired Comey in the most humiliating way possible.

Comey actually learned of his firing from the news, while he was at a conference. At first, Comey thought it was a joke. When a person is fired that way, he is not disposed to go quietly into retirement.

Firing people who have power requires a certain finesse. Trump failed in that regard.

.
Yes, fire him. There is no need for any special counsel; we have plenty of FBI agents that can handle it.

Yep case closed. But I do wonder if Trump, his advisers at least if not his lawyers know what really going on. The libs whether it’s the Dems themselves, the corrupt media and the Washington D.C. powerful like Mueller and Comey are not trying to be fair or play nice. They want to take down Trump and thus his agenda. Even if they can’t hang something on him to remove him they at least want to entangle his administration so that the agenda is slowed down from advancing. Is there anyone smart enough to figure that out?

Yeah, just like Bush said nothing and it all went away./S

President Trump is no cowering gutless politician like you are evidently used to. I hope he keeps right on trucking and exposing the traitors for what they are. It’s the only way to clean huse and drain the swamp.

Mueller should be fired, and removed from access to any government facilities ASAP. His access to roam about government offices should be curtailed to reduce his ability of adding fodder to the Democrat Dog & Pony show this administration has been subject since before inauguration.

Who appointed Mueller? Rosenstein. Lousy vetting job. Makes me wonder about Rosenstein.

I disagree. Sessions created this mess by recusing himself. He should have found his backbone and told the 5th column leftist lunatics in this country that “they have done nothing wrong and he will in no way as the Attorney General of the United States recuse himself of anything.” Keep praying for President Trump and his administration to be protected in this mess. Mueller sounds like a partisan hack who should be forced to step down.
