and sadly nothing will ever be done about it.

"That's going to be very, very powerful," Waters said. "That database will have information about everything on every individual on ways that it's never been done before and whoever runs for President on the Democratic ticket has to deal with that. They're going to go down with that database and the concerns of those people because they can't get around it. And he's [President Obama] been very smart.... |
I’m sure Sessions and Wray are all over this /s
I cannot help but think that Democrats ASSUME that everybody in politics is as dirty as the Democrats in power. They must be sorely disappointed that they haven’t yet found anything that will stick to Trump. In decades past, Republicans have been accused of doing things that, in fact, the Democrats have been doing already. Projection is their Modus Operandi. TIME TO DRAIN THE SWAMP AND CLEAN OUT THE SEWER, NOW!!
Too bad Assange didn’t hack her computer.
Well, fired, charged and tried, convicted and sentenced....
The Russia story was created to hide their unethical/illegal activities !
True and a good thing or they would be charging us with treason and executing us when they elect a Clintonesque. However, acts of sedition can be documented by their own words and actions.
U.S. Code Title 18 Part I Chapter 115 § 2384 18 U.S. Code § 2384 - Seditious conspiracy US Code
If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

Amazing how each one of them have been on FR’s radar years before this.
Raise your hand if you think anything at all will happen to those involved. Sure, there’ll be some of the usual rhetoric from “outraged Republicans”, maybe someone will begin another “investigation”. But not one damn person will be jailed, or even lose their cushy job. And this entire incident will be out of the so-called news before the end of the month.
Step 1. Fire Jeff Sessions.
Bureaucrats rarely go rogue. They follow orders from their bosses at the top. That’s how they got to be in the positions they’re in.
Bureaucrats are very cautious, calculating people. They live in fear of making missteps that could create a PR problem and cost them their cushy jobs, so they assiduously work within the chain of command.
Loose cannons don’t succeed in the bureaucracy. They get removed from the deck before they can damage anyone.
Where is the press asking the former president if he approved the break in and surveillance of a the political oppositions internal communications.
Is that what was being transferred to the Clinton campaign at Sky Harbor airport when Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch in 115 degree heat?
When did the president become aware that the Russian influence was a pretense to spying on candidate Trump and relaying that information to the Clinton campaign? Was it his idea?
Imagine GWB had done this and then made it look like Iran had tried to help Obama by meddling in the election ... I guess you have have to picture the dossier golden shower hookers in burkas but you get the idea
Trump is trying to reset the spirit of the founding fathers.
If he fails to remove the rust and decay in Washington, we are lost. If he succeeds we put him on Rushmore.
“Veselnitskaya may have been paid as well by the U.S. government, FBI sources said. It was reported last week that Steele, who compiled the Trump dossier was paid at least $100,000 from FBI funds as well. But that came later, after the wiretapping was well underway.”
“And according to high ranking FBI sources, the Bureau played a definitive role in plotting this sweeping privacy breach. But the FBI had much help from the NSA, CIA, the Office of of the Director of National Intelligence, Treasury financial crimes division under DHS, and the Justice Department, federal law enforcement sources confirmed.”
“President Barack Obamas White House too could be implicated.....”
The only consistency of these organizations is that the head of them answered directly to Obama and his administration. Unfortunately as this is commonplace in our world, and is easy to get for a government officer. There was a special court founded in 1978 to approve these actions by congress.
But if they did not get that approval, they are in violation of title 18, code 2511 of the civil code. And states treat wiretapping differently. Some require one party clearance, some require both parties.
But, also, under 2511, if the violation of this chapter is a first offense for the person under paragraph (a) of subsection (4) and such person has not been found liable in a civil action under section 2520 of this title, the Federal Government shall be entitled to appropriate injunctive relief. And if the violation of this chapter is a second or subsequent offense or such person has been found liable in any prior civil action under section 2520, the person shall be subject to a mandatory $500 civil fine.
The court may use any means within its authority to enforce an injunction issued under paragraph (ii)(A), and shall impose a civil fine of not less than $500 for each violation of such an injunction.
So, it is obvious that wiretapping is on the list of “big deal” crimes.
But the one that you won’t hear much of in the MSM is the breaking in of Trump’s campaign manager’s house to retrieve information that did not tie into their investigation of him.
The search warrant requested documents related to tax, banking and other matters. People familiar with the search said agents departed the Manafort residence with a trove of material, including binders prepared ahead of Manaforts congressional testimony.
That last piece of information was in no way pertinent to their investigation and violated his rights via the fourth amendment.

“Step 1. Fire Jeff Sessions”
I’m deferring judgment on Sessions.
I think he and Trump don’t want to go after Clinton and election-related scandals until the investigation of the Trump campaign is finished.
Republicans NEVER hold anyone accountable for anything. Although this is a key governmental responsibility, they never do it.
They feign outrage. They whine, complain and posture. They put on a little show for the folks back home. But they do nothing which is a primary reason why we have an endless stream of ongoing scandals in Washington. It never ends because no one is ever held accountable.
