Netflix has released the first trailer for the television adaptation of Marvels The Punisher.

JJ does have a second season announced. Only Iron Fist doesn’t have a guaranteed second - and I agree, it started alright and went downhill.
How many episodes before they inject the graphic gay porn?
So tired of Netflix pushing this homo shit.
Ozark. Narcos. etc....
First couple episodes are awesome. They hook you. They they inject explicit homosexual scenes.
Ef em.
I guess you didn’t watch enough episodes to notices that she’s extremely heterosexual then :P
Later
I keep looking for the new season of Longmire with no luck. It was supposed to be on Netflix in September, yet crickets.
When is the new season of House of Cards?
That’s about all I can stand on Netflix. Too many foreign films, smut, LGBT crap, Disney and reruns from reruns I’ve either seen a dozen times or never cared to watch the first time.
Here's a short that continues from that. Was hoping to see more of him in this role.
Iron Fist really screwed up the brand. The scenes with him doing anything more than background in Defenders are painful. They need to recast Danny, Finn Jones is a mediocre actor and terrible at martial arts (the guy can’t even tai chi convincingly, how does anybody suck at tai chi). Also they should fire all the writers that were associated with Iron Fist, they stink. Maybe just kill the character off, that’ll remove the stench from season 2 of Defenders.
Dr. Strange was pretty good. More than I expected.
OMG, I can't watch that show. The gun stuff is SOOO bad wrong! And that chick, the Starbuck chick, just oozes crazy. Can't watch.
House of Cards dropped in like May or June. Haven’t gotten around to it yet, the previous 2 seasons were so bad I might not even try.
It's all about big sky male attitude and normal living making mistakes and being effective
Someone posted an article a couple of days ago a location scout for the show, so intent on getting a “real setting” for the show ..... got himself iced (allegedly by the cartel)
Especially if you want to learn how to swear in Spanish.
I watched the first few episodes. I dont remember all the details, but there was an episode where a mob guy was holding a family hostage and he let one of them go. It didnt make sense for him to do so and only existed in the script to get someone from inside the house to get Longmire all the tactical information he needed to take the bad guy down. Just really mediocre to bad writing.
Actually Tai Chi is very difficult to do.
Doing “the forms” and doing them “in structure” is very isometric. If taught & done properly some of the “the forms” take 20 minutes to do and your thigh muscles should be screaming at the end of the routine.
It’s a “stand up grappling” martial art built around joint locks. It has occasional strikes & kicks, but the “strikes” are quite often just very powerful pushes or shoves to knock the opponent off his\her feet. I took Chen style Tai Chi for a few years and it takes a lot of practice to gain the strength to “stay in structure” while doing the routines & the martial actions. Note Tai Chi has associated with it a lot of nonsensical “hocus pocus” like “Chi flow” . My Chinese instructors used to laugh at people who believed that stuff.
Real tai chi can be tough, but this was 2 minutes of fake TV tai chi where all you really have to do is look smooth while moving your arms slowly. And Jones was terrible. Made worse by the fact that they had him on camera with somebody who at least kind of knew what they were doing, which really showed how jerky and spastic him movements are. It’s really impossible to watch an episode of Iron Fist and not wonder why they couldn’t teach a stuntman to act to at least a D level, with Jones being at best a C- actor and a hard F on the martial arts training a stunty up would make for massive improvement.
I haven’t watched The Defenders yet because I want to catch up with the other lead-in series.
Just finished two seasons of Daredevil the second of which introduces The Punisher.
Interesting villain in Season 1 who reappears in S-2
Finished the Iron Fist. A bit ho-hum, the soapy parts seem contrived and predictable....
‘and now we sit down and get in touch with our feelings’.
Concentrating now on Luke Cage. Liking it and the character is a good role model.
Seen a couple of Jessica Jones episodes. Interesting villain.
