The Las Vegas killer died with a note by his side — here’s what it read

Police are revealing finally what was written on the note that was found with the Las Vegas murderer Stephen Paddock.

What was on the note?

Officers who tried to confront the killer in his hotel room were interviewed on “60 Minutes,” and said that it included hand-written calculations on where Paddock needed to aim in order to maximize the number of fatalities and injuries to the concertgoers below.

“I could see on it he had written the distance, the elevation he was on, the drop of what his bullet was gonna be for the crowd,” Officer Dave Newton from the Las Vegas Police Department’s K-9 unit said.

“So he had that written down and figured out so he would know where to shoot to hit his targets from there,” he concluded.

and with the way he was ripping rounds downrange, he wasn’t taking time to aim.

I’d speculate the calculations were a firing solution for the avgas tanks he was firing at.

Nearly 60 people murdered, but only a seven-day news cycle.

Now, the Control-LEFT media is focused on the carcass of Harvey Weinstein.

No one in the media has old Harvey's backside.

"What possible evidence is there that a guy who stockpiled as many guns as he did and then shot over 500 people is a gun control advocate? That makes zero sense.

Hmmm... There are a lot things about the left that doesn't make any sense to me... Sometimes they seem to do things just to get their name or picture in the paper.. Sometimes they walk around with pussy hats on their heads and use the most profane language imaginable... Who knows why the left does what it does.. Their nuts.!! And THAT'S why I believe the guy was a big time leftist...

Drop calculations are for single shot, single kill.

So was there ONE major target and the rest to confuse the issue?

That could well be. But why go to the trouble of making those calculations and then not calculating the “odds” of being able to ignite a conflagration with the ammo he used?

Would you shoot a few shots at the fuel tank to test your calculation?

I worked around lefties for a long time. They are emotional creatures. You cannot reason with them. Facts, logic and the lessons of history are completely irrelevant to them.

The minute you try to reason with them they immediately resort to ad hominem attacks and their canned straw man arguments.

"Using a bump stock to point and spray, such calculations are nonsensical. "

Some of his rifles were set up for accuracy at long distance and were .30 cal, 7.62 NATO, 308 win. This caliber is the bottom line sniper round and those calculations were probably for that firearm. Every sniper can run those numbers in their heads but many still keep a small list of ranges and scope adjustments taped on the side of their stocks.

I’m guessing he’s brothers under the skin’ with Brennan and Clapper... A white’ liberal elite who hates Trump supporters... and seeths with rage that he’s not in charge.

You can’t fly around the world - including the Middle East - without drawing attention from the CIA - so either they were aware of him - or he was one of them. The ‘blackstone hotel’ story reeks of disinformation - the purpose to draw away from the ‘Trump Supporter Killer’ story...

Someone a Meryl Streep might call ‘a god’ because he preys on the powerless, runs over the innocent and hates people with traditional values. Like Brennen - like Clapper - like Weinstein... is Paddock - - a white liberal ‘elite’ hater.

I’m not buying the CIA thing. There is no motive.

The killer gets funded by ME terrorists who call in his “loan”. He commits a terrorist act and they support his family or they kill him. Either way, he is dead.

I know plenty of intelligent people who just aren’t as smart as they think they are. I’m sure you do too.

Mental derangement and fat egos are bound to lead to mistakes, right?

That’s my experience for certain! I would rather argue with the squirrels in my Hickory trees, their chatter seems to at least make some sense. If leftists understood logic they would not be leftists.

Oh yes. I’ve know very bright people who made big personal and business mistakes. They get so used to being right most of the time they eventually see themselves as infallible. And that’s when they they get the wake up call of their lives. The funny thing is they usually get tripped up by really dumb mistakes and miscalculations.

Great intelligence is certainly capable of making great errors in judgement.

Could be the reason why this nutjob chose to shoot people in the first place made so much sense to him, it never occurred to him that the reason would not make sense to anyone else..so why bother to leave a note justifying his actions? Either that, or perhaps he didn’t want to leave anything behind concerning his actions that night just to sow confusion for decades to come...or to keep his name alive...
On a slightly different point,is anyone aware of any similarities between the concert in Vegas and the Lollapalooza concert in Chicago? Did any performers perform at both concerts? Was someone who performed in Vegas scheduled to perform in Chicago, but cancelled at the last minute, causing the shooter to change his plans and not shoot up the concert in Chicago?

not necessarily. They are certainly most useful for one shot-one kill scenarios but he would want all of his scopes dialed in to account for distance and angle before he started. It makes sense to me.
