Mueller’s Pretense of Impartiality Means Indictments Are Soon to Come
DB Daily Update ^ | 10.23.2017 | David Blackmon

If you don’t believe that this is how these swamp creatures and their media hack supporters think, I give you the response mid-week last week by MSNBC fake journalist Andrea Mitchell to the current reporting on the Clinton/Russia/Uranium scandal by reporters for The Hill. When asked why MSNBC and NBC were maintaining radio silence on that scandal’s new revelations, Ms. Mitchell responded that her network had “already reported” the story in the past. The Media Research Center determined that that “previous reporting” to which Mitchell referred amounted to NBC having spent 92 seconds reporting on earlier revelations in 2013.

This is what these fake media outlets do whenever they’re faced with an inconvenient scandal involving one or more of their Democrat heroes: they file a single, perfunctory report on the matter, giving it the most biased slant possible, and then spend the next 20 years claiming that “we already reported that story.” It’s like getting a flu shot – you take just a smidgen of the nasty stuff in order to make yourself immune from having to go through the full-blown illness.

This inoculation strategy is as old as the DC Swamp itself, and this is most likely exactly what the Special Counsel’s office is implementing with its “investigation” into disclosures by the Podesta Group. By putting up the pretense of looking at a high-powered Democrat lobbying firm for possible technical violations, Mueller and his team are most likely setting the stage for announcing indictments of former Trump campaign adviser Paul Manafort or others who were involved in the campaign.

Thus, when accusations of the Special Counsel’s office’s obvious bias start to come, Mueller will now be able to defend himself and his team by saying “hey, we also looked at this Democrat firm over here.” See this shiny object?

Too early in the morning. I should have addressed that reply to you instead of shibumi, and just thanked shibumi for his kind links.

Muller and Rosenstein both should recuse themselves from any investigation into Hillary , Podesta and other members of the democRAT party involved in Uranium One and all other Russian investigations .

This would be a damn short investigation if Sessions would step up and put some pressure back the other way.

Comey did the same temporarily puting Hillary under the bus starting and then stopping the investigation. This was all to protect Obama, the standard bearer of all that is to be considered the impartial and pure non partisan consciousness of “science” and America.

Sorry, but I do not believe Mueller is not going to indite Trump or his people(well, maybe one or two as a bone thrown to Dems).....not unless they want civil war. You want to indite a Republican president then you do not hire a bunch of Clinton and DNC lawyers to do it. Now, you do do that if it is Dems you are going after and do not want civil war.

You might get one low level Trump campaign guy on some charge just to throw a bone to Dems and say you are impartial but this is not about getting Trump, it is about giving some people a way out(Trump met with Mueller the day before being appointed). My problem with Mueller and team is that he is way to compromised in all this to even go after the real players. There is conflict of interest either way that compromises any investigation. That is what does not make sense to me other than he knows where the bones are buried having seen the FBI investigations.

The second concerning thing was the distractions of the last couple of weeks, so we do to pay attention to this investigation. How big are the distractions going to get? We are being prepared for this though with the Uranium One stories this last week .

All perfectly valid takes, and well stated. Thanks.

I think he is going to indict Manafort in all likelihood. No Special Counsel has ever shut down an investigation without indicting someone for something. Mueller did not hire all these professional prosecutors for nothing.

Whether it goes beyond Manafort is anyone’s guess. I do agree with you that if he tries to indict Trump, then he is truly inviting civil war. I don’t really think his Democrat benefactors are ready to go there just yet.

Timing could be set to coincide with the release of the Kennedy papers and naming of Seth Rich’s murderer. /s

Mueller should be in prison. He was the bag man for the Obama/Clinton Russian uranium deal.

Yep, nothing will come of an investigation directed at democrats, regardless of the evidence.

1. Told you this was coming.

2. Mueller/Sessions have hid this for months under the smokescreen of “investigating Trump.” Never happened. This in part is why DT is reimbursing his associates for legal bills-—they were unwitting pawns used as a “smoke screen.”

3. OF COURSE Ds will attack. That’s what I told you is a key sign that I’m right. Once you see them attacking Mulehead (as occurred in the HILL over the weekend), as Jesus would say

“The end is near.”

He was the mouthpiece of the Administration.

It was a different time. All of the news was fake back then. Now, only 99% is fake...

Back then, the fake news was subtle. Now, everyone knows what fraudsters the media is.
