Would the far left dare to abolish the Second Amendment? What would happen?
Woof!
“They dont give a rats ass about YOUR lives, but expect you to do their bidding.”
This is a golden post, right here. The police have been being groomed for decades to follow these orders even when they don’t want to. It’s been glacial but the police have been taught .. over years ... that it’s “Us against them”. It’s in the SOP. The police are paid just enough to stay, and not enough to save up and look for other lines of work. They are promised pensions for keeping their heads down, and become paid slaves of the state.
When the riots break out, where are police lined up? Not between danger and the people. But between rioters and city hall. I speak figuratively, but enough truth to think about. The police are already wielded against the citizen and the SOP brings them out of their police stations already set up for conflict.
They’ll try, one day. But that’s the Day the Second Amendment is for.
That Day, and that Day alone.
Hypothetically...shoot them??
“If the left tried that they would be voted out of office in large numbers. Americas grown-ups are not as easily taken as Florida teenagers...”
But those Florida roostersuckers will be coming online as voters real soon. The schools have conditioned them and they are too ignorant and lacking of life experience to see through the BS.
“..Some will even side openly and actively with the people.....”
We’ll see.
Put money into body bag futures.
Woof right back at ya Dawg Brother.
Just Keepin’ it real.
There’s a huge chasm between “Peace Officer” and “LAW Enforcement”.
They’ll need to choose what side of that chasm they’re on.
Most of us already know which side we’re on.
If just 1% of gun owners resist you have the makings of a long drawn out conflict .
A very bad idea. Though Constitutional Amendments can be repealed, the first 10 amendments are in a different category from the rest. The first 10 amendments to the Constitution specify "rights". And the Second Amendment is specifically a right of "the people".
Rights cannot be taken away. They can only be illegitimately denied, usually by illegal force.
I maintain that the Second Amendment cannot be abolished as it is a right of the people. I further maintain that any attempt to do so is an act of treason!
“Many, if not a majority of LEOs and military will refuse to enforce firearms confiscation.”
Military will follow orders. Cops will be all over the map. Hopefully, there are a lot more Broward SRO types.
I expect to see the day this happens. And confiscation too. We all need to be prepared for this. The best strategy is not to engage in a firefight on your front porch. Rather, when they come looking, they find nothing. But I’ll still have them. And be alive.
My hope is that Trump gets two terms and gets two more SCOTUS picks and they set some precedent and give 2A relief to states like CA, NY, NJ, etc.
Trump needs to stem and reverse our wave of 3rd world immigrants that Teddy sent our way.
If not, we’re screwed.
“It would take 36 states to approve a change to the constitution, not happening.”
Constitution doesn’t stop these bastards. Look what 5 turds on the supreme court of fools did with Obamacare.
Then a bunch of them die of “lead poisoning”.
“As I see it, fighting back would not consist of pitched battles, but rather would take the form of targeting politicians, judges, celebrities, CEO’s, and journalists”
You nailed it....precision, surgical marksmanship.
Most would do nothing but complain...
I was talking about that with my Mom this morning. The communists (going by the name Democrat) have intentionally dumbed down our school systems so real history is no longer taught. It’s just part and parcel of their path to seize (even more) power and loot the country.
