US President Donald Trump lashed out at China last week, saying Beijing’s lack of transparency led to his administration’s late response to the coronavirus outbreak.
“I wish China would have told us how bad the situation was before we had to read about it. Because they were having a big problem and they knew it,” Trump said at a news conference on Saturday at the White House.
“China was very secretive and that’s unfortunate,” Trump said.
Trump has pivoted this week to emphasize the outbreak’s start in China, repeatedly using the term “Chinese virus,” which has been criticized by the fake news media as fuelling racism against those of Chinese and East Asian descent.
But where is the mainstream media now?
In yet another case of biological espionage, an unclassified FBI report mentions how a Chinese agent was caught with deadly viruses in his luggage by border patrol while trying to smuggle them into the US. The incident took place just over a year before the Coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, with deadly SARS virus and flu samples found in the agent’s luggage.
The story that was first reported by Yahoo News gives us proof of another case of biological espionage.
It’s strange. A legitimate biological research project would not have triggered these kinds of alarm bells. And it’s unclear why any legitimate research project in this country would need or want SARS samples from outside the country.
The biologist told the agents that a colleague in China had asked him to deliver the vials to a researcher at a U.S. institute. After examining the vials, however, customs agents came to an alarming conclusion, mentions the unclassified FBI tactical intelligence report obtained by Yahoo News.
“Inspection of the writing on the vials and the stated recipient led inspection personnel to believe the materials contained within the vials may be viable Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) materials.”

The report, which came out more than two months before the World Health Organization learned of a cluster of pneumonia cases in Wuhan that turned out to be COVID-19, appears to be part of a larger FBI concern about China’s involvement with scientific research in the U.S. While the report refers broadly to foreign researchers, all three cases cited involve Chinese nationals.
The report, written by the Chemical and Biological Intelligence Unit of the FBI’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate (WMDD), does not give the name of the Chinese scientist carrying the suspected SARS and MERS samples, or the intended recipient in the U.S. But the FBI concluded that the incident, and two other cases cited in the report, were part of an alarming pattern.
In another case the US Department of Justice announced on January 28, 2020 that the Chair of Harvard University’s Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department Dr. Charles Lieber and two other Chinese Biowarfare agents at Harvard University were caught smuggling viruses and charged.
As the “novel” coronavirus originated in Wuhan is spreading all over the world, more and more people including international bio-weapon experts are questioning its link to the Wuhan P4 lab located about 20 miles from a seafood market where the first few cases of human infections were found.
This is an open call for war let’s hope that President Trump will have the strength to compete with the Chinese in the international stage, given the fact that he has the Deep State that is helping the Chinese more than they help the U.S.

SARS and MERS *are* coronaviruses.
If this is a bioweapon, and this administration knows this, they would be keeping this truth obscured so that our citizens don’t go into a massive panic. What would we do if we sensed—at the collective level—that this virus was deliberately released versus being an inadvertent incident?
If that is true, then it would be a veritable act of war. Like me coming to your Sunday brunch with a vial of ricin and a pinch of arsenic. I doubt you’d be giving me a cold beer if you found out.

Not so sure Charles Lieber was charged with smuggling anything. I think he was charged with conspiring with the Chinese to share U.S. gov’t funded research. I think the Chinese paid him millions over several years.

If Trump tells us one more time how much he respects China, has a good relationship with them, and considers Xi a friend I think I'm going to puke.
What China did was not "unfortunate". It was disgraceful. We can no longer "wish" this didn't happen. It did. Now what are we going to do about it?

With Covid-19 they wouldn’t need vials; they would just need to infect one person returning to the US. I have said right from the beginning that this is China’s retaliation for the trade war in which they were losing big. I don’t know if Xi himself authorized it, probably not, it could be the PLA acting independently. I don’t think Xi even has full control over the PLA.

You’ll notice the term “Chinese agent” was used to describe the individual they stopped, searched, and discovered the product. Welcome to the world of espionage. There are few secrets in that ghost world anymore as everyone knows everybody. And with the expectations placed upon countries and their players we know what world leaders might do, and actually do, all the time. There are occasional new players, but not for long. It’s not a game of concealment when it is out in the open. And it is if you know what and who to look for.

If true, this is obviously something we need to figure out how to deal with.
In other times, this would result in a shooting war. I don’t want to see that. But this is serious...if true.

Smuggling viruses IN to the US is not espionage. It is biowar.
This one of the many reasons that Harvard & other "prestigious" institutions should have their pronouncements looked at with a jaundiced eye. The institutions have become corrupted by $ and outside influence.
Without an honest, industrious, curious or even attentive, press rot has crept into many of the institutions of learning, Government, industry etc. The press is now a lapdog, pampered and incurious, awning upon their "betters" while the public sits bemused. Thank God that citizen journalist have arisen. Thank God for POTUS and the movement he heads.
