After facing mounting pressure from Democrats and anti-gun activists, credit card giants Visa, Mastercard, and American Express all announced plans this week to single out their customers’ purchases at firearm stores.
Using a new four-digit merchant category code, credit card companies will now categorize any purchases at gun ammunition stores, regardless if those purchases are of firearms or not, as separate from other shopping. If the credit card companies deem any of those transactions suspect, they will report them to local law enforcement agencies.
Visa, Mastercard, and AmEx all adopted the new standards on Saturday shortly after the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which is known for setting standards for Western business transactions, approved the change regarding gun store purchases on Friday.

The solution is for gun stores to list the purchases as anything but guns.

Basically, you could buy a bb gun, and the code could show up. I would imagine even chocolate looking like bullets sold at the gun shop would show the code.
Yet, if you review the last dozen mass shootings, the Feds and Local police already had several indications that the shooter was a threat.
The Feds along with MIT are moving quickly to move to a digital dollar.
I think it’s a little less nefarious than what it’s being made to be. There’s already hundreds of merchant codes breaking everything you charge down into all kinds of categories.

I do not have any of those cards to cancel.
Currently on hold to ask Discover if they are also doing this.
If they are not, cancel the commies and switch.

That’s far ahead. But that’s a no go even for Dummycraps. Pay cash or money order. I pay cash myself at a MAJORITY of my transactions and if I want to purchase something online, I ask my business partner to buy it for me, and I get it from him.

Another thing why I pay cash at the cashier because of STUPID people who use debit cards. “Cash back? You mean I get free cash?” (yes, someone actually said this in front of me). If you are too dumb to know what cash back is, do not own a debit card.
Okay, I personally took the time to ask Discover if they are a part of this.
They are NOT!
So, the answer is to cancel the sedition cards and switch to Discover.
I realize few will do this but if even 2% were to make the switch it would be noticeable.
Thankfully there is an ATM right down the road from my gun store!
