Does Joe Biden Have a 25th Amendment Problem?

Something seemed to snap after President Joe Biden asked, “Where’s Jackie?”

The snap wasn’t in the president himself, but rather from much of the media, as what had been whispered about in Washington and bandied about on talk radio had become a mainstream topic. (Although a Morning Consult survey in August found that a plurality of 48% believed that Biden was not mentally fit to be president.)

If the Republicans win a majority in both houses, the President still gets to select the new Vice President...but it could prevent the President from picking someone really extreme because he or she would not be able to get a majority vote in both houses of Congress.

“Would you rather have Kamala?”

I would. I think she’d be delegitimized inside of two weeks and they’d be looking to remove her too.

Yes, the only way the Rats can directly control the process is do it now or at the least immediately after the midterms - though it will be a ‘weak’ hand.

For the Rats their best solution is follow the Nixon-Agnew-Ford-Rockefeller script for the 25th Amendment. Something like this:

They get DiFi to retire - she’s 89. Tell Kamala to take DiFi’s place or she’ll be Agnew’ed. Surely there is something illegal in her past that can be used for leverage! (She’s a California Rat it shouldn’t be hard to find!) Then the Rat scramble will start. Chips will be called in from Abrams, to Buttgiggly to Hellary to Newsom to Manchin, etc and more! to get that VP slot. It will be Newsom who gets it. He will be the anointed one for 2024. Then the VP RAT scramble will begin for 2024, same players and more minus Newsom.

After the midterms the GOP will have a say, they’ll have a total say after January 2023. If the Nixon-Agnew-etc. model continues it might force the Rats to keep propping Biden up to finish his term. The GOP will likely pick a “safe GOP” VP for the rest of Biden’s term. “Safe” meaning no Prez ambitions, which all could change after the VP crowning. If that happens it might muddle somewhat the GOP scramble. The rat scramble will be the same.

No, because no President who isn’t actually in a coma has a “25th amendment problem”. They can just write a letter and stop the process with the stroke of a pen.

Anyone who talks seriously about removing a President against his will with the 25th really should be automatically disqualified from any serious political discussion, because they’re either dishonest or stupid.

“Joe suddenly has a big 25th Amendment problem”

How? Did Joe suddenly lose the ability to sign his name to a letter?

The whole process would have to start with Biden’s cabinet, not the House or the Senate.

I wish people would actually read the damn amendment before commenting about it.

Shaking hands when no one is there and facing a blank screen and getting lost outside the White House... Also the odd and poorly done special effects from supposedly encounters with the media last year seem especially hinky.

Your comment reminded me of the weird special effects blunders early on in his residency. Particularly, the one were he was allegedly at a press gaggle on the WH lawn, and there was the funky thing with the microphone being an obvious camera artifact. There seems to be less of that kind of stuff now that the crews working him have gotten more experienced, but the multiple occasions of him reaching out to shake hands with nobody are really obvious clues that there is something really, really hinky going on. At this point, I'm pretty sure its not dementia. That's just an excuse so that we we don't question the 'reality' we are being presented with.

The dementia claims are just there to make us ignore the rest of what is going on around this clown.

Truman show anyone? It's a different scenario, but something weird is going on.

19FortyFive.com is lucky you don’t need evidence of competence to run a blog.
