The Gateway Pundit reported last week that Joe Biden sued the most radical environmental rules in American history to phase out gasoline-powered vehicles and force customers to drive ineffective electric cars. Now, a new report has revealed the effort to finish off the gas-powered car is well-underway in eight states.
As The Daily Mail reported Tuesday, the rules being adopted in these states specify that only zero-emission vehicles, which include electric vehicles and certain plug-in hybrids, can be sold beginning with the 2035 model year. This is known as the Advanced Clean Cars II rule.
The eight states that have pledged to force their constituents to drive environmentally damaging electric vehicles are California, Rhode Island, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington. The District of Columbia has also signed off.

The parts biz will boom. America will become like Cuba with a bunch of old classics. Or maybe the Communist in D.C. eventually will just seize the gas stations and start impounding what’s left of ICE vehicles. On the east coast they’ll give you 1 month free pass for the subway in exchange for surrendering your car.

Not yet. Maybe by 2040, they’ll shut down all the gas stations in the U.S. Most of the Baby Boomers will be dead. So the transition will be easier.
Eight states were workers who had the drive and ingenuity to find a place to live comfortably, earn a living and get to here from there in an ICE. Now that’s gone; they won’t /can’t b riding mass transit; they can’t afford a damned SUV and the bothersome infrastruture that one lashes them to. All gone.
Their productivity and taxes are gone, too. They’ll be finding jobs out in new, Real America.
This kind of stuff is why I’m glad I moved to Florida, even though I’m having a more difficult time right now. Whey? Because if I returned to Maryland, maybe I would get a better-paying job, but some of that income would be taken by Maryland to force people to bend to their warped environ-MENTAL schemes.
Maryland: the USA’s most comfortable open-air prison.
There literally isn’t enough lithium or silver to produce all the batteries needed for this insane plan, and that’s before we even get to the subject of the utter inadequacy and the fragility of our electric grid to support theses vehicles. The whole idea is going to crash and burn within 2-3 years.
and what are they gonna do about all the people in rural areas many miles from work when they cant get to work because of power outages, brownouts, bad weather etc OR for those who can’t afford to ditch their gas cars for electric? millions will be out of luck apparently? Gee, that should really help move our nation into the future!
Nope, two things. One: these states will refuse to register cars bought in other states. Two: The car makers are not going to make cars they cannot sell in Ca and the other states. They will only make cars they can sell in all of the states. The only chance to save us from the misery of electric cars is Trump winning and it is the last chance.
Lucky them!
But the politicians of California, Rhode Island, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Washington, and D.C. will be driven around in gas powered vehicles.

Car makers —do— make cars that aren’t register-able in CA and the other states; I own one.
They will discover reality hurts when the lights continue to dim to darkness.
Hell - you don’t even own your home - if they can take it for not paying taxes, you don’t own it, they’re leasing it to you...we stopped owning things so gradually we didn’t even realize what they were doing until it was too late.
The 8 states will outlaw any non-EV cars from being brought into their states........
In a way, I can’t wait to see this huge screw-up take place and for the citizens of the Marxist states to reap what they sowed/voted for. It will be a disaster par-excellance.....
