Now that the inventor has created perpetual motion, he is ready to tackle new problems maybe anti-gravity or time travel.

Art Bell had Bob Lazar ( yes that Bob Lazar) who is working on a cold fusion car right now:

I know an engineer, not associated with Lazar, who is also working on the hydrogen injection for internal combustion diesel and gasoline engines mentioned on the site you link to. They are apparently having some fairly remarkable sucess with it. From my understanding they inject a small amount of hydrogen into the combustion chamber to get more bang. The result is a huge increase in efficiency.

Damn. Does this mean I invented cold fusion for nothing?

Sort of. Positive potential is created through the absense of electrons (referred to as "holes"). Holes are vital in semiconductors.

Engine That Consumes No Fuel

Hell, I've got one of those.

Those aren't particles though. Which was my point.

You're right. It's actually the absence of particles. Semiconductor science treats holes as particles though, so some nutball reporter wouldn't know any better.

"I won't allow it to be bought up and buried by big money interests", Gray told Tattler during the exclusive demonstration."

Dead man walking. Oil guys like their 400 million retirement packages.

If these people were worried about their inventions being bought out and buried, they should have mass mailed videotapes and DVDs to as many people as they could to get the public aware of it.

But, if they had the address of somewhere in Van Nuys, California on the packages, the DVDs and tapes would be promptly trashed. Lotta porno movies originate from there.

The oil companies killed it.

Are you high? With an invention like this, oil companies could increase their profit margins a thousandfold. Anyone who has this invention would become a multi-zillionaire.

Considering that this article is over three decades old, do you think someone by now would have tried to capitalize on this?

There is this tiny little principle in physics known as the Conservation of Energy. Ever hear of it? Even with no resistivity at all, a single battery does not hold enough power to achieve the results listed.

You are correct, sir. Electrons are negative potential particles that orbit atoms in conduction bands. "Positives" are simply positive potential "holes" in the bands that attract electrons.

Great except for one thing: such a big surf generator plant could cause serious interference with sea animal populations. Can you imagine the outcry from Greenpeace over such a large surf generator plant?

"Surely there is ONE inventor out there who will be true to his patent and make his own millions. Or maybe ONE automaker that can see a ripe plum in new technology?"

No, because the oil company says "You either take this Million $$$ or we will give it to somebody that will kill you".  Given that choice, what would you do?

I don't see that as a problem.

"Bob Lazar has a criminal record. "

That may be, and he may be 90% crackpot, but that last 10% is really pretty amazing. I think Shatner did some things with him.

"Thank heavens they are still publishing crap like this. I think stories like this are essential for inspiring 10 year-olds everywhere"

I think I tried to invent a magnet only motor about that time. It got me thinking.
