No. It's not just you. And they are doing it with a sense of humor (read the footnotes). The DA wants the affidavit sealed until September 7. I think that's to tie up the loose ends and finish their interviews.
You're thinking of manual strangulation, but this was ligature strangulation and she did have extensive petechial hemorrhaging on the insides of her eyelids.

Do you know if she just moved away after the divorce and left Nate with Wex or was there an ongoing relationship with mother and child?
I missed the 2nd half of the GMA segment this morning - did Wex ever speak? He said almost nothing in the first half - Nate did all the talking.

Nate has two companies that do renovations and property development in Atlanta. I can't imagine why they would do work in Boulder, CO.
One is Wexford & Associates, so I assume his dad is in with him on it, since he doesn't have any in his own name as owner.
The other is 530 Development, which is probably named for an address of a property - I didn't look any further into it.
My understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, is that death BY strangulation is uniquely determined ONLY by patechial hemorrhaging of the WHITE area of the eyes and not the eyelids. THAT kind of hemorrhaging can be caused by other factors. That's how I read it (I think the Mayo clinic website).
And I hate to use adjectives like that b/c I know I'm disparaging someone (just not who), but I just don't know of any other word. It's the only way to describe my inability to comprehend it.
You'd think they'd do that for anyone charged with a sex crime - particularly one involving minors.

That's because the hit was on Elaine. The sensation of having a mother in a mental hospital sells movie rights faster. You don't think it's a coincidence do you? If this "McCrary" was a REAL friend, do you think he would have smeared John's older brother's mother? Not unless Nate or Wex could make a buck, cause that is all that matters. To them anyway. You can see who is running the show, as you said, Wex hardly said anything. Nate just learned it all from his father though, so don't go taking pity on poor ole Wex.

No idea. I had no contact with Wex after the divorce of his first wife. And as I was small, most of my knowledge is through family conversations picked up over the years.

Are you serious? You think John and Patsey Ramsey murdered their own child? WOW! No, you are not the only one who thinks this but the problem with that thought is that there is no evidence that points to them. In fact there is way more evidence that an intruder did it than them. JBR was the Patsey's joy in life. People don't murder the best thing that ever happend to them.
I don't know if Karr did this crime and I'm one who chooses to say that until I see the evidence for myself. I think we'll know in a few days if he did it or not, but if it wasn't him I think it was some other wacko, but not the Ramsey's.
I heard what Wendy Nichols had to say and my feeling is that JMK was on the Internet when a lot of others around him weren't - there were already forums full of people the night the crime hit the media, discussing all aspects of it.
It was a lifestyle for some, if not many - has was one amongst hundreds at the time. It would've been easy for him to pass himself off that way. Lots of people were acting like they were "insiders." Believe me, lol.
