You're good. I'm only 87% Republican. Oh, well.

I just wish the Republican Party was really that conservative...

I read "I have no mouth and I must scream" but I thought "The Terminator" was taken from the "Soldier" episode of "Outer Limits." Two opposing entities come from the future. The good guy is detained by the cops. They use animals to help detect the bad guys - cats in "Soldier" - dogs in "The Terminator".

I apologize if I'm mistaken. I could have sworn that I read the it was "I Have no mouth but must scream."

Sorry to all.

Well, the idea of the super computer taking over might have come from "I have no mouth but I must scream"

I was afraid of that. I'll have to find something of his to read.

I'm really fairly normal. Verging on boring.

I am:
Hal Clement (Harry C. Stubbs)
A quiet and underrated master of "hard science" fiction who, among other things, foresaw integrated circuits back in the 1940s.

Which science fiction writer are you?

Not surprising really. I like a lot of his stuff.

Turns out that i'm Dr. Jerry Pournelle. Funny, always liked his work, and wish he'd write some new Sci Fi.

Okaaaaaaaaayy. Let's try this again:

I am:
Jerry Pournelle
This old-fashioned writer may be the most unapologetic capitalist in the field. He has also been influential in many other fields, from space policy to the computer industry.

There's a sequel to Darwin's Radio? Cool. I have Darwin's Radio read unabridged by George Guidall.

"That fits me, except I've never heard of the guy..."

I know Greg... good guy, very dry humor, broadly schooled and absolutely frighteningly scary smart.
