Sorry about being gone all day yesterday. I was at the VA hospital where a team of doctors and cardiovascular surgeons were examining my legs and trying to come up with a treatment plan for the circulatory problem I've been fighting for the last several years. The good news is they think they can save my legs! Hurrah!

And I will probably be out most of today too. I'm going back to the VA this morning for some sonogram tests. More on that on another thread later. By the way, I was really impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, concern, care and respect the VA staff gives to our veterans. These people are great!

I always try to thank the Dr.s and staff for serving at the VA.

My wife just got a job at the VA as a critical care nurse. She was impressed that throughout her orientation they stressed the privilege they were getting in caring for injured veterans.
