Sorry about being gone all day yesterday. I was at the VA hospital where a team of doctors and cardiovascular surgeons were examining my legs and trying to come up with a treatment plan for the circulatory problem I've been fighting for the last several years. The good news is they think they can save my legs! Hurrah!

And I will probably be out most of today too. I'm going back to the VA this morning for some sonogram tests. More on that on another thread later. By the way, I was really impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, concern, care and respect the VA staff gives to our veterans. These people are great!

Calling prayer warriors ...

Jim is still in need of big time prayers. He is still having lots of pain in his left leg. The recliner has made sleeping more comfortable but he is still not getting enough rest. He only sleeps about 2 hours before the pain wakes him.

Oh, no. I am so sorry to hear this. I was so hoping that his health was going to be improving since he had good doctors working on his case and so many of us praying for him here.

Yes, I will continue to pray hard that he has a healing miracle. In the meantime, his doctors need to know that the Ibuprofen are not controlling his pain. I am very worried about him.

I told him to tell the doc tomorrow that he needs something stronger at least at bedtime.

He does not see the surgeons again until later in the month. Tomorrow he sees the doc that prescribed antibiotics for his infected toe.

I’ll keep checking on him and praying for him.
