I was raised by my Pentecostal Grandfather and Grandmother. Went to church 4-5 times a wk with them and listened to him and others ‘preach’. If you listen to Obama he has the same cadence as a preacher. His speeches lull with rhythm.
When he is just talking or answering questions it is not there but when he does an actual speech it is very noticeable.

STOP BASHING OBAMA! He is going to make a wonderful president and all you jerks here can do is continue tearing him down. He has a reasonable solution to every problem and is far better qualified than McCain. Everyone here needs to vote for Obama as he is going to be the best president we have ever had!

I haven never been able to listen to him. Even before all of the “bad” stuff came out I could not tolerate his voice. I rely on this board and transcripts to find out what he is yapping about. Well - thus far this is the only author who comes close to explaining to me the hysteria and worship of a no-accomplishments, conscience free narcisist and megalomaniac.
Much that has always struck me as truly odd is addressed in the article - the fake presidential seal, the ‘O’ logo, Obama’s statements that indicate he believes he is the messiah, the analysis of the his slow, oddly worded speeches - the bizaree adoption of this man as their savior, his ability to ‘order’ everyone to forget about Wright etc. All there. Which makes the conclusions of the document more sobering (horrifying, actually). IMHO Obama IS trying to employ mass hypnotic techniques. The question is how well they might be working.
JOe the plumber was unscripted - Obama theoretically cannot employ hypnotic techniques in unscripted venues - is THIS why he is having a harder time ordering us not to think about Joe anymore?
Really - if Obama were even partially capable of doing what he seems to be attempting with mass hypnosis - then we might as well be talking about Iran’s long awaited 12th Imam and the effect he can have on the future.

I am, technically speaking, an educated person so I am embarrased to be saying this but...that PDF document linked to the thread. THAT could be big. I know, I know...you are picturing me with tinfoil and frankly - I am too but...well...seriously - it’s the first time anyone gave me even a scrap to explain the great big WHY behind that worthless empty suit that people want to worship.
I am concerned that people will give up without reading the PDF because the first 16 pages are kind of promo without proof. Then I became interested around page 17 for the first time - it takes patience to read it all the way through but you kind of have to to understand the better (more disturbing) material starting around page 55 and building toward the end. THe following excerpt from the PDF addresses a big red flag that all of conservative punditry seems to be struggling with:

and perspectives. In the end, we forget that he fails to address what he calls “nagging questions” because he
cannot. They aren’t “questions”, they are impossibilities for which there is no answer, but which he dances

character for twenty years. It is impossible that someone who says “g-d.d-mn America” loves this country
in the same way as someone who is shocked by these words. It is impossible that Obama had he good and
strong character, would have stayed in that church. It is impossible, that had Obama possessed good
judgment, that he would have stayed in that church. It is impossible, that had Obama not agreed with such
views, would have stayed in that church.
In the end, he convinces many on emotion and warm feelings driven through to the subconscious through
continuous hypnotic storytelling, telling hypnotic story after hypnotic story each with a theme about how he
wants the audience to feel. Obama ends up slipping out of the consequences of a personal history what
would rationally have destroyed any candidate.

No, don’t misinterpret what I posted, I wasn’t judging this thread, it speaks to all of the stories floating around now, as McCain supporters I think we all can appreciate the humor and the frustration of this election.
We know that Obama has not been vetted, we know there are more stories out there, we know the current stories have not been properly investigated, but we also can laugh at the absurd ones, we also can laugh at the ones that may or may not be true but as these stories pile on, there is a certain folly.
I certainly believe that Obama epitomizes the cult of personality but I think that he is using classic car salesman techniques, if he really had true hypnotic powers he would have 80 percent support. But hey, anything is possible.
I can’t place my finger on it but something in the way McCain has left Wright off the table makes me think something is about to break.
I truly believe the Republicans are sitting on something.
Back to Obama, he has become like Apple computer or McDonalds, he is a corporation, he is a movement, talk to most Obama supporters, they have no idea what he stands for, yet they are devoted to him. It is a classic case of marketing a product, the Obama campaign has been successful in this rollout.
But in the end the American people, mocked as they are, have a ton of common sense, and my gut tells me that their instincts will be to not vote in this great pretender.
Thanks for posting this. I have spent time reading this and have bookmarked it. When I have read the entire thing I will write more on this. Yes, I think Obama is doing this. On another thread a few weeks ago I wrote that Obama has a strange pull, like a vampire. He even exerts this on Republicans, but most of us resist it because we know he is twisted via his beliefs in partial birth and other examples. I think as we are getting closer to the election the real Obama is showing more as he struggles to reach those not reached, he is not on his game as much. But what we are seeing is only a tiny, tiny, fraction of the real Obama. We really have no clue yet about the real identity of him. We can only speculate right now based on his associations with other radicals.
What makes you think that the anti-christ wouldn’t use these techniques? Better yet, let me say, wouldn’t the anti-christ be the inventor of these techniques? Therefore, he wouldn’t need to learn it then, would he?
Actually, it does work, Obama has a pull, Republicans are only different in that they resist it because they know that his beliefs are evil. It puts us in a better position to resist.
