Virginia is fastly becoming my least favorite state in the nation.

I havent forgiven them for throwing out Allen for Macaca.

And I will NEVER forgive Virginia if they are responsible for putting Barack over the top.

How can Rasmussen have tightening in battleground states but have the gap in the national race widening? He had Obama up 6 today.

Maybe nationwide he is up by 6

but tightening in the BATTLE GROUND STATES.

BOTH need the battle ground states for the electorial votes to win. Other states are not as important.

That’s just my guess ... .

And the coal thing. It was on Rush’s show today, and it’s getting ink.

Brokaw and Charlie Rose are NOW starting to ask, “Who is Barak Obama?”

Isn’t that something? Hey Tom, maybe you ought to put a guy on that and let us know?

The national poll means squat. Its the battleground states that matter and EVERY battleground McCain either has a slim lead, is tied, or is within the margin of error.

The socialist west coast of the west coast, industrial midwest, and northeast are responsible for running up Obama’s leads so heavy that the national vote is irrelavant.

I hope McCain wins the electoral college and loses the popular vote just so to send another message to the coasts that WE DONT LIKE THEM and WE DONT LIKE WHERE THEY WANT TO TAKE THIS COUNTRY. They can join Europe for all I care.

McCain Camp feels great about these polls.

They said the rural vote is under counted and they expect rural areas to go Huge for Mac.

Only way this is possible is for Obama to be ahead by like 30 in NY and Cali and McCain to only be ahead by like 10 in TX. I don’t see that here in TX - this is definitely McCain/Palin territory.

Fox is hedging their bets. They know that they could easily be out of business with Obama in office, so they are kissing butt to keep their network open.

I moved to VA 11 years ago to escape the libs of MD. It is sadly getting bluer here.

I just returned from Virginia. I can tell you the Shenandoah Valley will be going for McCain as will coal mine country in SW Virginia. But as for the rest of the commonwealth, only God knows. Pray that turnout is high west of the Blue Ridge.

Isn't that the definition of a battleground state - that the polls are within the statistical margin of error, or within the uncertainty due to biases by the pollsters? Still, it's nice that the states needed by the smiling socialist aren't just falling for whatever charm Chrissy Matthews feels tingling up his leg when he looks at The One.

Keep in mind, in 2004 the average of the polls had Bush up only 3 or 4 points in VA and he won by 9.

Factor in a little Bradley effect and voters waking up at the last minute and realizing they were about to vote for an inexperienced, black nationalist, Marxist, tax raising, coal hating, gun-grabber and I think McCain/Palin win VA by at least 4.

We went to Upstate NY to Amish country to get apples about 2 weeks ago. The McCain/Palin signs outnumbered the Marxist Messiah by at least 20 to 2. The yards were full of McCain/Palin signs, but the kids had to search for the Oboma ones ( Usually, they were found on the lawns of junkie, run down houses.)

I dont like Virginia’s numbers, it was very close last time in 2004 and the state is leaning towards going blueish..

Bush won Virginia by 8.2% in 2004 and by 8.1% in 2000. Every election the media tries to make Virginia look close. It isn't. McCain will take Virginia by 6% minimum.

VA is the only one that bugs me.

I wouldn't worry too much. This poll has 97% of VA Dems voting for Obama.

No way.

That Ohio ballot alone might just be enough to confuse some of those Obomabot voters.

Yeah, 33% of people wanting to vote for Obama accidentally will vote for Cynthia McKinney!
