Shows like "24" to be trusted?

Posted on 11/07/2008 4:30:32 AM PST by freedom44forever

In our house we've always loved action shows like "24", with all the crap on the box nowadays it's good to see people standing up against our enemies and placing positive military icons in the mainstream. But my sister commented last night about how they love to include little things in their alternate timeline, such as the black President. Makes you wonder if the Media doesn't design these shows to appeal to the common man while implanting "acceptable" images in his mind....

Sorry if the idea of a black man as president isn’t an acceptable image in your mind. I understand that this season the president is a woman. I can only imagine what kind of plot you’re building into that.

Ironically, I’d rather have Wayne Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) as President than B Hussein Obama.

Done long before Obama was on the scene.

The media does have much more power than they probably should, but I don’t think that’s really valid in this case. For some people it may play but intelligent people won’t buy it. My opposition to Obama had nothing to do with his color—it had to do with what I fear is his stance on the economy. While he espouses he’s not a socialist, the words coming out of his mouth espouse him to be just that—a man with socialist views and I believe that will do great damage to this country.

Is that you Jack Bauer?

Personally, I suspect this conditioning all started with Erkel.

That kid was so dang smarter than everyone else.

At the same time portraying the Republicans as mean and nasty with Donald Sutherland

Sweetie, 24 screened in 2001. It would have been scripted and made 2000/early2001. At that time Obama(PBUH) was a Chicago machine politician who had failed in his first attempt go national, he was nobody special

Of course the media implants ideas through imagery-—done repetitively-—the media, with irresponsible ideas and young, hip ( sic) workforce are shaping our country and our world.

These mediocre journalism grads have at their disposal, the most powerful tool on the planet. Mass distribution of influence via their dishonest headlines and editing. 24/7.

And they’ll continue to carve America according to their hip, faddish definitions until they completely sink us. They have trendy contempt for everything we hold dear.

They seek to accelerate the secularizatiojn, using their sarcastic, hip protocols—to tear down every traditional value and ideal...and wrap it all as the narcotic for the masses— “entertainment”.

We are the Eloi.
