I doubt the guy selling it is an eBay regular. I don’t recall many MiGs before.
To: BillyA
There are several flyable MiGs in the USA that are flown every weekend for airshows and events.yup....there's a (Original / flying) MiG-15 near me.....
came to a nearby airshow.

(just b/c you're paranoid, doesn't mean "they" aren't out to get you.. :^)

Google “Ed Wright” MIG21 on any search engine. This looks legit assuming the seller is Ed Wright.

Overpriced. There’s a flyable Mig-21 for sale on Ebay right now with a Buy It Now price of $49,000.00!

Nice! I had a friend who built an F-18 almost to that scale. He flew it once. It was to big to fit in his car, so it was tied down to his trunk lid on the way back from the test flight. It broke lose and took one final flight and ended up in a million pieces on I-95.

Yup, and last I was there in 2004, one of them is at Reno-Stead airport, north of Reno.
Those mountains appear to be the mountains looking east/northeast of Stead. I’ve flown there many times and attended several airshows there.
So if the guy isn’t for real, he’s at least had the attention to detail to make the photograph of the unit match the description on the listing.

The F-14 is nice, but
this still has to be the best RC experience in the world....(be sure to watch all the way through!)

Outstanding! Those RC pilots are (amazingly talented) nuts. Flying that B-29 inverted 2-3 feet off the ground was insane!

hmmm. do they sell parts at autozone?
To: diverteach
I asked my wife if I could buy it. She’s still pretty ticked about the AR-15 I bought last month so she said no. Dammit.

There are three or four flyable Mig-17’s not two miles from where I am sitting. And yes they come out and play from time to time.
