The parrots are BRIGHT solid-green and medium sized, Mama Bear. I’d say there were about 20 in that flock, but I could be thinking a high number because of all the sqwacking(?)* noise they make, lol.

*somebody spell this for me please:-)

Hi Amy, that is the cutest soft warm fuzzy puppy ever, awwwww.....:)

The parrots are here year-around, I’m pretty sure. The only migrating they do is from one neighborhood to another, but mostly on the westside.

To: YOU
Date: TODAY
From: GOD
Subject: YOURSELF
Reference: LIFE

This is God.

Today I will be handling All of your problems for you. I do Not need your help. So, have a nice day.
I love you.

P.S. And, remember...
If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do Not attempt to resolve it yourself! Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours.

Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.

If you find yourself stuck in traffic, don’t despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.

Should you have a bad day at work; think of the man who has been out of work for years.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; think of the person who has never known what it’s like to love and be loved in return.

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.

Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn’t live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other people’s bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

Should you decide to send this to a friend; Thank you. You may have touched their life in ways you will never know!
Now, you have a nice day.
God

God has seen you struggling,
God says it’s over.
A blessing is coming your way. If you believe in God, please don’t ignore this.

Beautiful stuff, y’all!

Can I have a piece of that choc cake to work on with my puzzle? LOL

My daughter and I love puzzles. Before she could read, she figured out that the numbers on the front of the puzzle box meant how many pieces. She wouldn’t do anything that was less than 500 pieces. We have a vast collection—the harder the better. No frames, the same picture on both sides with the picture at a different angle. A couple of them were individual puzzles within puzzles and you had to solve the maze or whatever to put the big puzzle together right. Absolutely adore them. How about y’all? LOL

Checking in here late in the day!

It has been another huge day for us.

My sister and her husband came early this morning and I called the Dr. for her(checking on the status of the biopsy) only to have the secretary say that he had been called out on a emergency and would not be available again today!! Oh waiting can be so hard!

My sister opted to stay the day with me as she said it was " comforting just being with me".

In the meantime my hubby had to take our very dear friend/neighbor to the hospital today * he is 87* and I have been comforting his wife.It appears he is now dying SO today has been a reaching out day for us...as will tomorrow be also.

I will try and catch up with the posts later...

I want to thank you all for your prayers and notes. What a Group!! Polly

A CATHOLIC STORY

On a vacation in Rome, I noticed a marble column in St. Peter’s with a
golden telephone on it. As a young priest passed by, I asked who the
telephone was for. He told me it was a direct line to Heaven, and if
I’d like to call, it would be a thousand dollars. I was amazed, but
declined the offer.

Throughout Italy, I kept seeing the same golden telephone on a marble
column. At each, I asked about it and the answer was always the same:
a direct line to Heaven and I could call for a thousand dollars.

On the way homeward, I stopped in Ireland . I decided to attend Mass
at a local village church. When I walked in the door I noticed the
golden telephone. Underneath it there was a sign stating: “DIRECT LINE
TO HEAVEN 25 cents.”

“Father,” I said, “I have been all over Italy and in all the
cathedrals I visited, I’ve seen telephones exactly like this one. But
the price is always a thousand dollars. Why is it that this one is
only 25 cents?”

The priest smiled and said, “Ah! But you’re in Ireland now! It’s a local call.”
:-)

Thought I would answer the pings I didn’t get to this morning. Went for hair and had lunch. Ran by Sear’s, came home, napped, and didn’t get back on the computer. I am just not up to par!

That was the sweetest Good Morning graphic, Amy! You do such a good job on sending greetings to everyone! You’re a dear!

Trying to do a bit of catching up!

That looks like a very attractive beach from where I’m sitting. I love the ocean so dearly. There is nothing as calming and soothing as the ocean. We went to Myrtle Beach all our lives but it became quite crowded a couple of years ago.

That is so sweet...”the conversation hearts”. I still love them, don’t you? I forget she is in the third grade. In that picture, she looks so mature and older than third grade! One of my granddaughters started dating at 14, but it was on the front porch where ‘dad’ (my son) could see them every minute. I guess the first time he let her go in the car with this boy was 16, the best I remember!

Of course, the granddaughter liked boys since she was very young.....sorta like your Marissa. Marissa will probably be into cheerleading like both my granddaughters did. One of them went on to cheerleading all through high school. Of course, their grandmother was a cheerleader all through high school and ‘captain’ in my senior year. Aww, the good old days!

Heard about a ton of sliding accidents today and stayed home for more housework.

How’s your weather? You’ve been getting hammered, too, right?

Poor baby! I’ve been away all day and thought I would try to answer some pings. I hope Lindy is doing okay and that the little baby understands. My heart always breaks for little animals. God bless the sweet little thing. And you too, dear Yorkie!
