PLease pray for my daughter, Katie, who had a stroke and was rushed by helicopter to Cleveland for surgery. She is in her forties and has two children, one still in grade school. Since we live in different states, the information has been sketchy, but we do know that the stroke was a bad one.

May the Lord receive Paul into His presence and grant you comfort.
Oh Kate, my heart breaks for you.....Did you happen to see Greta’s interview with Barbara and Poppa Bush this evening? They shared their continued pain at the loss of Robin.....
A parent loss of a child is one of the most difficult thing a person can experience...and yet God willingly gave his son so our children can have life everlasting.
May God hold you in the palm of his hand in this difficult time. (((HUG)))

I forgot to metion Kitkat's update is at post #330.
Her daughter Katie continues to recover from her stroke.
But her son, Paul, passed away unexpectedly last month after a long battle with cancer and other ailments.
God bless our friend and her family.

I’m so sorry to learn of the death of your son, Paul. I’m glad he no longer has to suffer on this earth, but I know you must be grieving terribly. I’m glad your daughter is recovering. God’s blessings on your family at this time.
For some people, it seems like when it rains it pours. My great uncle (my mom’s dad’s brother), who is now deceased had illness rip through his family. It still is after his death. I’m so sorry for the loss of your son, and I will keep you, your daughter, and family in my prayers. Times like this really test the faith.

Glad to hear Katie is doing well, but I wish to express my deepest condolences for the loss of your dear son. Can’t even begin to fathom the pain you must be going through.
