OMG, kindred spirits on the thread, I'm so happy! I feel so outnumbered tonight. Loved the show, love Adam. He's such a cool combination of my favorite '70s music and pop culture. The show tonight was the best finale ever, for me;) My DIL and I were just floored, it was so cool. I can forgive Kris Boring (wife? what wife?) winning after this show tonight. I mean, seriously, KISS, the Pink song, the Black Eyed Peas, Cyndi Lauper, Santana, Lionel Ritchie, and Rod Stewart in the same show? Fabulous! Amazing! The winner was like an afterthought. When Adam goes out on his own tour I am so there, and when he stars in Phantom of the Opera I'm there with bells on, baby! Or should I say, a red velvet bow tie?
watch it, you might need counseling..just kidding, I was told that since I posted old videos of Adam..he is the best.

LOL! They are Indian. Their culture has a long and positive tradition of tattoos and body art, as do many cultures. It's only in recent times that we associate tattoos with the drug culture. I admit the sleeve took some getting used to, but I love Megan. I thought the performance with Steve Martin tonight was incredible. I hope it's true she and Anoop are dating.

Next, pick up the Holy Bible and read it.
In it you will find some more good advice and of course learn about your Maker.

I have a gay nephew and lesbian niece (oddly enough, they’re brother and sister, 2 of 4 children, and no my sister was not thrilled), but I can’t hate them just because they are gay even though I totally disagree with their lifestyles. Actually they are both quite intelligent and successful.
Grow up, respect my elders? Well on those two topics, I am far from a youngin’ and am the sole caretaker of my elderly ill mother for almost 9 years now, but thanks anyway. I wasn’t disrespectful to anyone.

Yep, know what you mean. I have never actually picked the winner, not even Carrie, though I adore her now. All my favorite Idols are in Country Music, but Scott, Danny, Red, and Adam will break that streak.

Newsweek already has. The guy was on O'Reilly, called it the "probably Christian" vs. "might be gay", said the Christians won't vote for the gay guy, it's a comment on society, blah blah blah. That's a no win for us Christians. With Klean Kut Kris winning we are all bigots. If Adam won they could say we are irrelevant. Ironic. The same magazine said a few weeks ago that Christianity is failing in America, but now we're so powerful we picked the American Idol.
