Ethically challenged Pennsylvania Representative and Fixer John "Jack" Murtha today called for the prosecution of sailors and marines aboard the USS Bainbridge involved in the "needless deaths" of undocumented Somali customs workers.
Murtha said that the Somalis were simply persuing a long and honorable tradition, much respected among Democratic politicians, of extorting tribute from those engaged in commerce, both through official and unofficial channels. Murtha made the point that there is fine distinction between ransom to kidnappers and campaign contributions and other favors rendered to politicians in the United States.
Murtha said he felt a "spiritual affinity" to the Somali seafarers and did not want to see the Navy set a precedent that might be extended to members of the American extortionist community, whom he was proud to represent.
Meanwhile Sen. Schumer says the days of rejoicing in the traditional values of bravery, family, prayer, the USN, etc. are over.
Satire, I assume?
ROFL wiping tears away.
Murtha needs to ... well nevermind.

For a brief 5 seconds you had my blood boiling. Now why would a good FReeper like yourself want to cause more pain and suffering for another fellow FReeper? And on Easter Sunday, no less. Now go repent your ways... ;-)
If Captain Phillips gets between Schmuckie and a TV camera, he’ll wish he was back in the custody of the pirates.
These days, how can you tell the difference? I assume Murthafucka was serious.
Will there be pizza?
Satire of course , but not so far off.
Murtha is running scared right now, so maybe we wont get a comment.
B.S. Murtha is sitting pretty. He’s god a -D at the end of his name.
I agree...hard to tell these days!
