What makes me cringe in seeing the fist bumps and chest bumps with the CIC, is that the present CIC didn’t even have military service experience AND everything he’s doing is defeated the military’s purpose (dying/fighting for this country and freedom). ;(

Those are the seats set aside for the Members of The Annapolis Midshipman’s Republican Club:-) Janet Napolitano’s Homeland Security would NOT allow them admittance to their reserved seats since she has declared all declared Republicans are Terrorists! Thats why they refused to allow two Kindergarten Classes to take their Tour of the White House yesterday and to meet the President! The poor kids wouldn’t swear to Vote Democrat when they turned 18 at the White House Gates! so they were denied the Tour and Meeting with the TOTUS they had been promised for months./s/

Let us hope that McCain is at least as smart as his father. Let’s see, that would place him at the very bottom of his graduating class. Actually, it is more likely that he is as cocky as his old man, and that would place him in a class by himself.

I was not an officer. I was active duty. I have never been to a graduation or awards ceremony where I saw this kind of behavior. Never.
If I had done any of these things at a ceremony, I would have been disciplined. It wouldn’t have been pretty, let me tell you.
But then again, I understand respect for the uniform and respect for myself.
I always though they taught Officers to have some class.
I guess it can’t be taught, you need to be born with it.
Disgraceful behavior by some of these young men.
Judging from the fact that all the people remaining in those seats seem to primarily be wearing white, I’m gonna guess that’s where the graduates were sitting during most of the ceremony, but they’re empty cause the people sitting in those chairs have received their diplomas and exited down the stairs instead of returning to their seats. It’s normal for graduation ceremonies.
Also, in graduations that occur in sports stadiums, it’s not uncommon for the people who are in charge of arranging the event not to seat people past a certain point (usually, not behind the stage, and not past a certain point just beyond the bleachers facing the stage). It’s similar with NCAA basketball games played in football stadiums where the court is at one end and bleachers are set up on the field next to it, there are probably photos online.
Personally, I think that, even if you don’t believe in God, you would be wise to say God Bless America. After all, you could be wrong.
