Prayer thread for Mrs. Dono (Update in #189 - She's back!)

Mrs Don-o wrecked on her bike this morning and has broken bones in both her arms plus a broken left elbow. She will have surgery tomorrow for the elbow.
I left her in good spirits, after she was given some pain medication.
As often happens, we meet angels all along the way - from the folks to stopped at the accident to render assistance and contact me - to the EMT's who transported her - to the wonderful staff at our medical center.

At 0950 (EDT) I received a call from the hospital that she was being taken for the surgery. I spoke with her earlier this morning and she is all set and good to go.
We agree that I can wait here (ten minutes away) and I’ll go over when she’s out.

Prayers for Mrs. Don-O's speedy recovery. Her posts are always such an inspiration to me.
I also wiped out on my bicycle in March, broken hip and three pins later, am now without crutches. Am into therapy and am doing very nicely, thanks be to God!

Mercy! She told me last evening that there were three on her floor in for bicycle accidents.
Still awaiting the phone call that the surgery is done. I’ll try to post a bbl when I do get the call.

I got tired of waiting, so I headed to the hospital. Was almost there when I got the call that they were in surgery. The ten o’clock was when she left the room. The surgery began at 1:30 I believe I heard.
