My faves are Alamo-Girl, Betty Boop, pissant, Polarik (recently signed off FR), Sunken Civ, Slings and Arrows; doug from upland; kristinn; and all those folks who maintain ping lists.

No, unlike the thread from 10+ years ago, no one is keeping score. I’m not sure anyone was keeping score back then either. It is interesting how FR has changed.
When this question was asked many years ago there were around 5000 registered users. Now we have over 300,000. Things have changed a lot yet, except for the fact that there are so many more names submitted, this thread is very similar to the old thread.
I am proud of Free Republic for that.
And to reiterate, this is not an attempt to collect a list of “Alpha Freepers” what ever the hell that means.

Some alpha freepers I can think of would be JimRob (of course), dougfromupland, trixie, kristinn, buckhead, Tony Snow (RIP), Duncan Hunter, alamo-girl, betty boop, sunken civ,
maybe icwhatudo, polarik, pissant, Jeff Head, Pukin Dog (though he opused out too many times), MiaT,
