Why Coakley Lost (Letter to the Editor)

Why Coakley lost

reasons why Martha Coakley lost are that she ran a Democratic Leadership Council campaign, thereby alienating her base, and Massachusetts has Diebold machines, which flip votes at will. We must not let Diebold steal our elections any more.

Silly me; I thought Choakley lost because she received fewer votes than Brown.

The sarcastic letter advocating all the wonderful government programs at the top of the link is another ‘Ellie Light’ style boilerplate - Google it and it’s everywhere on the net.

Shame the Times were fooled.

Too bad we don’t lie at will per “by any means necessary”, otherwise ‘08 and ‘06 were “stolen” as well.

"...Massachusetts has Diebold machines, which flip votes at will. We must not let Diebold steal our elections any more..."

Right.... because those crafty Republican election thieves turned on the "vote-theft" functionality on the rigged Diebold machines to "steal" "Teddy's Seat" and keep Coakley out of the Senate, but they somehow forgot to enable that very same "hidden feature" when it was time for the much more critical function of keeping Barry Soetero out of the White House.

Sure makes sense to me.....

Funny how elections are only stolen when Dems lose.

One would think Diebold would have wanted to fix the Kenyan’s election. More at stake.

Shame the Times were fooled.

I have had several letters to the times published over the years, they almost always call to prevent such things. But if someone really wants to fake them out, obviously they can.

How absurd.

This fool doesn't seem to be able to think with any degree of logic.

The state of Massachusetts is called a "blue" state because the political infrastructure is controlled by the Democrat party.

He is in effect accusing the state Democrats of throwing the election for Brown.

Those letters soooo explain the election of Garamendi and McNerny by the foolish in their gerrymandered districts.

We’ve got an idiot on a local discussion board who has hung his hat on this theory.

Diebold was the only option for voting that could be found by the Democrats who ran the election?

My local rag publishes form letters from PETA and the usual gang of idiots all the time - I suppose it’s the paper’s prerogative but they seem ignorant of basic Google skills that would save them ‘Ellie Light’ embarrassment.

I thought the real reason Coakley lost was that Massachusetts voters are sexist and won’t elect a woman to a statewide office. I heard that idea thrown out by pundits before the vote.

I hope it was stolen.
Hell the Dems stole the Minnesota election and handed it to a scumbag.
Least the pubbies stole it and gave it to a real Man.
Thank heaven for Diebolds republican leaning machines.

Idiots, I fear how many idiots are amongst us.

I guess Howard Dean, James Carville, Robert Gibbs, and other powerful democrats are right.

The Martha Coakley loss is Bush's Fault!
