The head of Michigan’s Honors Program when I was there was one Otto Graf. We had a family friend named Heyaudrey and my aunts lived next door to the Cabbagestalk family.

Richard Head

That was actually the name of my high school principal. Everyone called him Richard, of course.

I used to work with a girl named Ria Gano. It wasn't so bad for her except during a roll call.

Worked with a guy named Donald Duck. He had sailed with Whitey Mac for the first trip under the North Pole in a submarine.
Have you ever read “Catch 22”. One of the characters was named Major Major Major. Of course the Army Air Corp. had to make him a Major. While he was still in Boot Camp.

Don’t forget Ima Hogg. You got to wonder about her parents.

Her father, Jim Hogg, was governor of Texas in the 1890s.

Ima was a very great lady, as it happens.... and lovely enough to live down the name:

I worked with a girl named Hope, who had an older sister named Faith. Unfortunately, the third child was a boy, so they named him Charlie.

I went to High School with Faith, Hope, AND Charity!
