Glen Beck radio 3/24 - I think this is important
Radio

Posted on 03/24/2010 6:55:21 AM PDT by LizardQueen

I rarely start posts like this but IMO this is important. Am listening to Glen Beck radio this AM and he is making a very important point and it is this:

America doesn't like bomb throwers and hippies, this was proved in the 1960s. Now those same people are in power, and they're INTENTIONALLY trying to provoke us conservatives and tea partiers into doing the SAME thing to marginalize and discredit us, and to make themselves look like the mainstream ones and not the radicals.

As tempting as it is to pick up a gun, bomb, or brick DO NOT DO THIS, not just because it is illegal but because it plays exactly into their hands and this is what they WANT us to do.

If you can get to a radio today I really recommend you listen to this, this is an enlightening perspective.

“We need to stop pegging our behavior to what THEY might think or say about us”

Great posts.

If you have not read, Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg.

He explains this need for violence by fascist regimes. It is going to happen, it is coming, and it will be before the elections...months before such that they can declare...No Elections.

Read my post from 3/22....it is happening to us.

If they set something up and blame it on the Tea parties/conservatives it is still a BIG risk for them. The alternate media is not that small anymore. Breitbart and the Acorn videos prove that. we can expose them. We need to have videos rolling at every conservative event.

Glenn is not advocating sitting on our asses and doing nothing when it comes to restoring our republic. He’s saying that we should go on the offensive with the many nonviolent tools at our disposal.
With the present moral fiber of our nation, a violent offensive on our part will lead to the French revolution not the American one. And in the end, a Napoleonic dictator instead of a restoration of our constitutional republic.

And don’t mistake his nonviolent stance on shaping public policy as one who wouldn’t defend his life, family, or property with a gun.

I pretty much agree. The Dems will have some of thier thugs, blow something up and they media will blame it on the Tea Parties, count on it.

At that point the Tea Parties have to decide if they should be destroyed (thus letting the Constitution be destoryed) or fight back.

Glenn is right.
In this day and age, wars are played out in the media as much as on the battlefield.
Remember who controls the media.
It is possible to "win" the physical conflict and still lose the war. Example: Vietnam.
This is not the kind of war we can win in the streets.
Only the left do riots. We must be, can be, smarter than that.

We need to find leaders who are ready to restore the republic in the aftermath. There will be an aftermath and we need to stop being in denial of it.

This all can be short circuited if we’re ready to restore order, freedom, and our country.

His other commentary is giving me chills this AM - he has said flat out “stop saying you’re a fan of mine” and “don’t hitch yourself to me, it will only hurt you”. He says that they’re looking to teach a lesson and that “he’s the guy”.

I can’t believe this is happening in our country.

Liberal Facism is a book I would assume all conservatives have read.

Essential history lesson.

I agree: with their control of the media and the sheeple, they can pretty much cause such a Reichstag moment any time they want to. Be prepared. The difference here, and in Nazi Germany, is that I DO think that for now the majority is with us and we are better armed than our opponents; and there is some question as to whether the U.S. military will ever go along with some potential scenarios.

I encourage people to look at Freeper Matt Bracken's trilogy, the most recent being Foreign Enemies and Traitors where such a thing occurs. Foreign "peacekeepers" are brought in because the U.S. military won't shoot at its own citizens.

What we really need is just one state to have the balls to say “Enough! Either abide by the constitution or we are out of here!”

Actually, I think Americans DO like hippies — that’s part of why they’re all in power now.

Who do you think you are talking to? Load of crap. Tell Beck I said so too. One crazy enough to bomb throw isn’t likely listening to Beck, he is covering his butt in case someone does throw a bomb/gun so he “can’t be blamed again” like Rush was for the OK bombing.

I agree with Beck but there is a point where communism cannot be tolerated unless you are willing, not to just lose your freedom, but all you have earned and no longer can support even a basic standard of life. We are moving in that direction. When the communists reach a point where they cannot bleed anymore out of the rich, destroyed the middle class that have business, then they must go to the barely working class. The first will be a value added tax. Our sales tax is 10.5 now. That means a roof repair for the middle class is almost out of the question. When the next rain and the ceiling comes down you will find the guns loaded. Get it? Most Americans will not live in huts, cardboard houses, and run down homes and we are rapidly headed that way. Sorry for rambling but I am damn mad that I worked hard all my life, fought in a war for my Country, and will not accept the communists filthy rotten bastar@s destroying me and my family without a real fight. If George Washington did not cross the Delaware, where would we be now? Most Americans will not hold off much longer. The Democrats are the filth of America.
