the mini series for V?
Hulu doesn’t work for my area of the world...But...EZTV replaces it nicely.
Now I have to DL and catch-up on 3 thru 7.

I was in Hong Kong decades ago & LOVED it.. in so many ways.. Surely would love where you were at.. but alas the changes via china have made all more complicated, at best

I liked the scene where Anna’s is discussing with her cohort about humans coming aboard the ship to live and her cohort said that it is becoming a problem. I like her response to him....I need the bodies....oh my...!!!!!

I agree. It simply didn't seem to be going anywhere, and then wham --- the Desmond-centric episode ends up being very important.
My daughter and I were talking about Lost this morning at breakfast. (I have been there from the beginning, she caught up while in college and is hooked.) Anyway, I was saying to her that it seems like the characters that we thought were on the periphery of the program, are actually becoming much more important (Desmond, Hurley), and the main characters seem to be fading a bit. Maybe it is just where we are in the story, but I'm wondering if the makers of this show had planned this from the beginning so that we were watching the wrong people.
So, I think the Desmond episode was so important because it finally connected the "alternative side-ways universe" with the people on The Island.
I didn't watch Firefly when it was first aired. I tried, but it seemed so disjointed that I couldn't get into it.
Well, after the movie "Serenity" came out I decided to try the series again since I really liked the movie. Well, on the disc-jacket, they list the episodes as they will be seen, but under the titles, they list the dates when they were originally shown on Fox. And what you see is that the "suits" got involved in which shows would air when, instead of which shows were in the order that Joss Whedon meant them to be. So, my feeling that the show was disjointed was accurate.
Firefly is worth watching.

I been catching up on Hulu but I loved the Who Is John May? headline in the NY tabloid. I think the writers are closet Ayn Rand fans.

There was some great writing in that original series ... and goofy, typical 80s stuff, too, but some good writing.
