I'm looking for a website that sells cheap college textbooks or discount books that will help guide me in reading the earliest written histories of Iceland,Greenland,British Isles & Ireland. I know this is probably a humongous task to undertake but i'll only be reading them one @ a time . Most of the earliest written histories of these countries is in poetry form or "saga's" any help out here would be truly appreciated.I'm trying to design a reading program for myself starting with these countries as a structured pasttime. Thanks!
www.campusi.com
Ditto but even there, they often do not beat the “Used” prices on Amazon. Unfortunate.
It's by ebay but different, no bidding.
Amazon.com has used books. That’s what I would use. But there’s probably other sites as well. Good luck.
I have used this site for years to find the best bargains from a smorgasbord of sellers. The sellers with good ratings have generally been around for a long time.

try half.com
compare prices to eBay and to amazon used sellers
Try Alibris.com’s textbook link. Lots of rare/out of print and obscure stuff. Very reputable. http://www.alibris.com/
I collect text books (reading, grammer, and math) They are amazing treasure troves of information, especially the math text books. You get all sorts of information of the cost of everyday items from the 1800's and even late 1700's.
Do you have to own them? Most libraries can get you what you are looking for through inter-library loan, if they don’t have it on their shelves.
i’m not a student @UVM(univ vermont) i access their library but cannot check out books :(
For textbooks, try www.Valore.com
Don’t know if they have anything you are interested in but here’s the website:

Does the town you live in have a library? Most libraries participate in inter-library loan programs and can get you just about any book you want to read. It doesn’t have to be a large, institutional library.
here’s the kicker on the local libraries-in Burlington to be a member of Fletcher Free Library you have to submit statements such as tax bill, etc. for Burlington. I live in Burlington but rent,ergo........
UVM (univ of vermont) has the Bailey Howe Library which is for students only. I’ve done research there but cannot withdraw materials. many thanks for your suggestion!
